Here's a crude translation. Roughly 8-seconds missing.

The crude translation seems to "re-animate" back to German. Thanks though....

I hardly think "What the F#@&???" is a necessary response. I merely attempted to be helpful by posting a link to a Google'd translation of a German web page. Apparently it didn't work.

Ultimately, though, the website contends the differences between the US "R-rated" version and the original version is 8 seconds of rather minimal consequence.

I had heard it was a full minute, I'm glad it's only just 8 seconds.

For those of you who were having trouble with that page, here:

80:28 min. - 80:31 min.
The fixer with the overdose of Wests serum winds itself still longer, until finally his eye from the eye socket ploppt.
Duration: 3 sec..

80:35 min. - 80:37 min.
The belly bursts to the fixer up. In the NL sees one equal the Gedaerme in 2 attitudes rausspritzen, in US gives it an attitude of the watching west and in the background is the place noise of the abdominal wall to be heard. Subsequently, one still sees for approx. 1 second a part of the lateral attitude from the NL, how the Gedaerme rausspritzen. Both versions are equivalent long.
Duration: both 2 sec., no zeitunterschied

85:08 min. - 85:09 min.
Howard cuts through Schizo Laura/Emily minimum longer the throat. Both the drawing back attitude and the cut attitude are longer. In US one sees the end from second only.
Duration: approx. 1 sec..

85:15 min. - 85:16 min.
Howard cuts through Schizo Laura/Emily again the throat. In US one sees only Howards drawing back attitude, on the NL still cut average.
Duration: approx. 1 sec..

85:17 min. - 85:21 min.
After the intermediate cut on Dr. West and Warden is again visibly cut through only in the NL Schizo Laura/Emily the throat.
Afterwards a small rerecording comes:
In US:
1. Drawing back attitude Howard No. 1
2. Schizo Laura/Emily: "Yes!" No. 1
3. Drawing back attitude Howard No. 2
In the NL:
1. Drawing back attitude Howard No. 1
2. Schizo Laura/Emily: "Yes!" No. 1
3. Drawing back attitude Howard No. 2 part of 1
4. Schizo Laura/Emily: "Yes!" No. 2
5. Drawing back attitude Howard No. 2 part of 2
Duration: NL approx. 3.5 sec. longer.

The page also claims that the American DVD company inserted its logo at the beginning of the movie for the length of these cuts, so the two run equal lengths. Or, as they put it, "Perhaps intention, in order to deceive buyers?"

That's silly. Eight seconds or so for a studio logo is hardly unusual.
