Sorry about this late bump but I have the same exact problem and the glue was on the US edition. I was able to get the glue off by just rubbing it with my finger, the oil from my finger made it lose its stickiness and then it just rolled into a ball. However, there is still a small amount of discoloration from some residue and I was wondering how people fared using acetone/acetate? I don't want it discoloring my box. Sigh, who was the genius that decided to put glue on the back of that damn piece of paper that was MEANT to be taken off? Never had problems with that plastic type glue (that just peels off)

well, thanks to squirrel god's advice i was able to get the label off with no damage to the third box by first blow drying the back of the box with the thinki glue line and then doing the qtip and lick trick on the side of the box for about and hour and a half...i got the glue residue off with a damp piece of toilet paper followed by a dry piece...easy easy...anyways, thanks for ecveryones input
