Tokyo Story. Looney Tunes. La Strada. Disney tins. Naked Lunch. Andrzej Wajda films. The Apu Trilogy (for those of you with R1-only players). Le Cercle Rouge. Lon Chaney Collection. OUATITW.

And that's just the movie-lovers-must-haves.

Anybody else, who doesn't know this movie, think that it sounds like three discs full of Simpsons edisodes that center on the Qwik-E-Mart?

Yeah, as many people before me have said, there are so many good to great releases in October & November that it's going to take into next year before I have the money to pick up everything on my wish list from these 2 months. I agree, kinda glad that there isn't much coming in December.

My Wish List:
The Medallion (Jackie Chan) (Dec 23)
Bad Boys II (Dec 9)
Pirates of the Caribbean (Dec 2)
T-3 (Nov 11)
Friends - Season 5 (Nov 4)
X-Men 2 (Nov 25)
The Lower Depths (Criterion Coll - Date unknown)

That's not counting the ones on my wish list which have ALREADY been released! My Wish List has 14 items, I can afford about 4 items per month!

Der Zorn Gottes:
what do you mean when you say "(for those of you with R1-only players)"? is it available elsewhere than region 1?

OF COURSE things are bound to get worse every Christmas.

The heydays of FINALLY getting your personal holy grail are behind us as most of the catalog titles we want are out now.

Except for Star Wars of course.

Once our old faves are out, all we have to look forward to are new movies from that year -- and that cannot match the excitement of a lifelong fave.
