Heh, for my two cents, I liked Apocalypse Soon better, but that's because I wasn't too big on Terror Firmer in the first place.

Gouge your eyes out first. Farts of Darkness is far and away a better look at Tromatic filmmaking. They must be showing a cut down version of AS, because the rambling disaster featured in the Citizen Toxie set never effing ends.
thanks....but being in this butthole of an area....I'll take what I can get. I've watched AS....and I'll watch it again if thats all us poor...cornfed farmboys get.

Hey, I feel for you gut. I lived in Ames for over 4 years while in grad school. The good news is that you CAN leave. I thought they'd try to stop me at the border, but they don't. Ya gotta wonder why people stay.

just FYI brother....I own a local-based company that delivers the big bucks and wont relocate until I retire. I was born and raised here. left in 1982 after HS and moved to Bay Area. I did all my party poppin' a long time ago. I came back a few years ago to get away from areas jam-packed with freakers and geekers. I'd much rather be here than other places. nice and quiet. the only bummer is not getting to do things like "meet people" and physically stay in touch with the outside world. but this is a great place to live for the other things in life. so I did leave....I lived....then crawled back.

so Lloyd K...you better be good to me and understand that we here in cow country...need you a little more than the rest of the world. trust me. I'll have one twisted up for us...nice and fat. just relax and enjoy the peace and quiet. unless that has been programmed out of yer brain.

I'd love to. Reading this was the first I've heard of it. That Saturday bit is interesting for sure, but I'd like to attend Friday as well. Doubt the little woman will want to attend. Maybe I can get a work bud interested.

I'll be cuttin' it real close. if it ends up being another 11 hour work day....I may miss the start of CT. and I'm tempting fate by sending out a crew to do the job for me saturday, so that I may attend. they are new at working with each other so me not being there is a big worry. really, all I want for sure is to meet Lloyd and have 1 minute of him signing the dvds. but yeah...I'm still trying hard so I can be there every minute!!!

Come to the east coast for the Chiller Theatre Con for Halloween. Lloyd and a large cast of Tromaville regulars show up with tons o' DVDs. When buying Troma titles, I prefer to give them my cash than go to a middle man.
