Aerosmith's "10 Inch"

The fact that you may have considered it is scary. Its 50 cents difference!! A few dollars difference is fine, but for only 50 cents is just a cheapskate!!

10" TVs are small to those used to 27" TVs but to people used to watching the 10" screen, its fine.

Up until I got my DVD player and needed the A/V jacks, my main VT was 13" and I was totally fine with it. I could afford a larger set but didn't see the need. I used to watch WS LD movies with no problem. I got a 20" for my DVD player and was impressed how large it was. I moved my 13" into my room.

Finally, last year, I found a 27" for $150 so it is my largest TV so far. Now the 20" is in my room and the 13" is a backup TV.

Is there really such a thing as a 10" TV? I've had lots of 13" TVs (still do, even), and seen really miniature ones, but 10"...I don't remember ever seeing one.

Anyway, I think the guy's just trolling.

My sister and her husband have a 10" (or maybe 9") screen. It's a deliberate effort to have their daughter grow up believing that people, dogs, horses, and books are more interesting than TV. So they have a six-year-old who has her own pony and who watches VHS tapes on a 10" screen.

I recall them jumping for 9"s to 13"s back when I worked in retail electronics sales (early 90's), but stranger things have happened.

I do not think they ever made a 10" TV. It went from 9 to 13.

Aw... Now I miss my old 13'' TV. It served me well from age 12 through my freshman year of college. Sniff. I even watched widescreen VHS on it (Usual Suspects SE). Plus I spent all of freshman year watching DVDs on my computer with stereo sound. Deals were good in '99, and I collected around 55 DVDs in a year.

That was a good year for DVD. This was not a good post for staying on topic!

While I hesitated to contribute to this discussion, I thought I'd mention that T2 is going to have black bars even on a widescreen TV. T2 is 2.35:1 and a widescreen TV is 1.78:1.

I could watch 235 movies on my 13 inch tv without much problems and also now have a 20 inch tv and have no problems. And I have crappy vision.

Well, I agree that their price isn't always good, which is why I don't always buy from them. But I feel that their customer service is actually great. Most shipments come to me in a week or sometimes even sooner, and I live in Hawaii! I have had no defective discs yet and nothing damaged.

Yeah... I've always had a great experiance with Amazon. Recently UPS gave my girlfriend's Wok she ordered to another person (they actually signed for it at another person's house!) and Amazon, instead of holding her up, just sent her a new one and said they'd deal with UPS.
