I STILL don't know why you hold on to them.
TRADE them for something you will like! http://www.dvdtalk.com/forum/forumdi...p?s=&forumid=6

I have a relatively unknown independent film called "Love Stinks". The cover looks like it is pretty bad, but it is actually a very funny movie. Starring in the movie are French Stewart (3rd Rock from the Sun), Bridget Wilson (Billy Madison, House on Haunted Hill), Bill Bellamy (How To Be A Player), and Tyra Banks.

Then why would you say it's the worst DVD on your shelf, if you like it?
I read somewhere that everyone, no matter how macho or how geeky they are, has at least one DVD or VHS in their collection that you just look at and go... "huh?" Like the guy that has every copy of Rambo, Rocky, Terminator... and then, off to one side, a copy of Steel Magnolias. (Yes, Rocky_Stallone, I am talking to you... )

In addition to my earlier post of Charlie's Angels (worst movie and most out of place in my collection), I must add my wife's movies:
Steel Magnolias
Divine Secrets of the Ya-Ya Sisterhood
The American President (Geez, it feels like she watches this once a week)

Black Mask - with Jet Li. The dubbing is just really bad. I'd buy it if they rereleased a subtitled version.
The Blair Witch Project. A blind buy and one of the worst films I've ever seen. It would have been a great student film, but as a professional release it was crap.
And the winner goes to...
Hangman - with Sandra Bullock. Not just a bad film, but a REALLY bad transfer.
To be honest, it's hard to pick between Hangman and the BWP, but since noone has chosen Hangman as their worst DVD, I thought I'd throw that in just to see if anyone could defend it

3 horrors that are so bad I can't even watch them all the way through. Backwoods, Silo Killer, and Jessica a ghost story. None are even like real movies. As far as real movies with real stars, Harvard Man, the cell and K-19.

Ninja vs. Ninja. It was on the bargains forum way back when. It was practically free, except for the shipping. They say "you get what you pay for." Lesson learned... at least until the next "freebie.".
Flying Guillotine (Beverly Wilshire Filmworks) is one that i considered selling off today because it's a particularly bad transfer from a VHS tape - an EXTREMELY used and abused tape i might add. Unfortunately, it's the only available R1 copy of the Shaw Bros. classic, AFAiK. As for the cover art, i've puked better looking stuff than what was on there. What's worse is that the back cover says that it's a "Special Widescreen Edition," but the transfer is P&S!
i'm just happy i was able to unload what would've been a sure "winner" today: Enter The 36th Chamber of Shaolin. The transfer is just as bad as Guillotine, is P&S, and has burned in Eng. subs. Here's the kicker: the subs are COMPLETELY useless because the beginning & end of each subtitle is chopped due to the P&S!
i have the worst luck w/ martial arts movies...

Battlefield Earth is the worst movie on my shelf, but it doesn't belong to me or my roommates, it's just there (really, I swear) . I also have Nothing But Trouble, Leathal Weapon 4, and about 5,234,234 worthless Jackie Chan movies (some of these are good, but mostly they are balls).

I rarely buy crappy discs.
But I have. I own such stinkers as The Hobbit and Criterion' Les Dames du Bois de Boulogne (below-average by Criterion's standards in specs, and perhaps the director's worst film). I also own Herzog's Woyzeck, as part of the Herzog/Kinski collection...good enough transfer, just bare bones disc and not a very good film. I also own a bootlegged Ranma 1/2 OVA collection, thanks to amateurish eBaying. Now it'll be even harder to fork over for the over-priced legit set.
Criterion's Good Morning is another disc I'm not too fond of...while I think the movie is a little gem, the transfer isn't so hot, the disc is barebone, and the movie is a "LITTLE" gem. Nothing compared to the silent film it was "remade" from. I'm glad I own it, but its certainly one of Criterion's lesser items.

Probably Lawnmower Man. I bought thinking it was cool because I saw it a long time ago, plus the price was 9.99, hard to resist until I saw it in a bin at Wal-Mart for like 5 bucks. I just wanted to kill myself or go on a rampage, but that's only me. This this day, still have no intentions of watching. I have no idea of how to get rid of it to save space.

After losing some of the stinkers via half.com .. a few still remain but... I hate Lilo & Stitch, while the girlfriend and her son like it.
Next worst... Rules Of Engagement (i guess)
