Hope you like it...
...and I wish I could donate a few credits to you so you could download it. I currently have WAY too many credits.

Can someone quickly explain to me how dvdcoverart.com works? With the credits really quick? There's some snappers (and then this disc) that I'd love to get rid of...also stuff like (if they have it) Marilyn Manson's new DVD would be awesome to be able to put the DVD itself on my shelf along with the new DVDs by the FF, White Stripes, Strokes, the Roots, and Queens of the Stone Age that come with their CDs that have music videos.

Intolerable Cruelty coming out this Fall?
Apparently it was initially slated to be completed for this years Cannes (which ended today) but didn't make it. It's still in post-production.
Can't wait for it (as with all Coen Brother's films).

They haven't been involved directly with many of their DVD releases - even the two new ones coming out this week (Miller's Crossing and Barton Fink) are bare-bones.

The Coens *are* the writers and producers. One brother directs, the other produces, and they both write the screenplays.

At least they're being released with "some" xtras so it's better than nothing

I don't think they're anti-DVD by any stretch, they're just not hip with the bells and whistles.
And their commentary track on "The Man Who Wasn't There" wasn't so great. Better to let them do what they do best: make compelling and re-watchable films.
Film: the best "special feature."

If the recent MGM SE re-releases are any indication (ie. Thelma & Louise, Bull Durham, Usual Suspects), Fargo:SE will indeed have a new transfer - and I'm sure it'll be a very nice one too.

Other than the bottom one having a warmer color setting, I don't see the difference. What are we looking for?

You can tell that the image is clearer, with fewer compression artifacts in the bottom image, making the overall look and feel of the print much sharper.
Looks nice. Can't wait to see the final disc.
