Anyone else excited about Robin Hood?

I'm so excited to hear that Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves 2 disc special edition will be coming out early June. I really enjoy this movie and I'm happy to see it will get the treatment it deserves. First "The Mission: SE", then "Dances with Wolves : SE", and now "Robin Hood : SE!" What a great couple months for DVDs.

I really enjoyed it and will throw down some $$ for it. Glad I never got the old version.

I agree, I saw the barebones out there and had a gut feeling there would be a SE sometime in the future. I'm guessing Best Buy will sell it for $19.99 which is a bargain for such a loaded DVD.

I've been waiting forever for this. I held off on the original release, but I was starting to crack. This SE sounds great.

I just somehow knew that Warners would rerelease this film on dvd in a special editions so I held off for the longest time on buying this. I'm just glad that I'll finally have it in my collection.

I am, I've been holding off on getting the BB version for quite a while because of the rumor.... Now they need to get GoodFellas SE on the fast track to release.

Do I really want to see Kevin Costner in tights??..

I'm really looking forward to the original though in August. I can't wait to see how the transfer turns out. If it's as good as Singin In The Rain' it should look amazing

While I am looking forward to Robin Hood. I really want to own the special editions of The Right Stuff and Once Upon a Time in America. I am also interested in what people think of the newly added footage for RH. I will probably buy this for Alan Rickman's performance.

I'll keep what I have I only watch it once or twice a year, my DVD changers have the flipper. They already show his A** coming out from a river bath, what's the 12 minutes contain more of the skin show. This sherrif is no where near Basil Rathbones perforance in the 1938 film, coming to DVD in industry standard in December of this year. Right after the 1944 "Laura" with Gene Tierney and Dana Andrews et all.

P.S. Another 4:3 for my locking DVD & HDTV in full without fat faces.

I'm extremely excited about this, because our class in high school went to see this way back when it came out, and we took up the entire theater. This movie is attached with many special childhood moments. A must buy for me.
