And lest anyone think we're threadcrapping, I am happy for everyone of you that has your wanted titles on that list, it's just that my life is easier with that many fewer titles I have to convince my wife I need. (Did that make any sense?)

8/5 - , Flamingo Kid,
10/7 - Silkwood, ., Impulse,
11/4 - , Custer of the West, Duel in the Sun, Hell in the Pacific, Junior Bonner, Too Late for the Hero
Anchor Bay already released thesxe awhile back, they are OOP so you better dump them at ebays, as i've seen them go pretty high. However, I will hang on to mine, can't imagine MGM doing a better job, plus hate to have them release a full screen version the last minute, then I would be out of my widescreen edition from Anchor Bay. MGM is just too inconsistant.

Glad to see they're finally releasing some Bergman.

I will bet all these will be pan and scan. Tjhey released bREAKIN 2 pan and scan, didn't they? I hate to lose out on all the extrsa dancers on the left and right, and I will probably get dizzy seeing the camera move fast left and right when they dance, so I passed. Hopefully a better studio (are you listening Anchor Bay) do these justice. I pray they will.

The fact that you even know about this trilogy is a little creepy...

Another studio may have put it out, but the rights can always be transfered.
You were correct that is was not out yet though.
People are nervous because MGM is starting with quite a few P&S releases, and they are putting out quite a few movies people have been waiting for, and most if not all of us want WIDESCREEN.
I am still gathering support to have MGM reconsider Remo Williams being released in Foolscreen!

If that list is accurate, I'll definitely be getting Fargo, The Sure Thing, and probably Escape From New York, and possibly Valley Girl. Not sure about the others, but there are some that are mildly tempting.
