They emailed me last week that The Bridge on the River Kwai Blu-ray "is temporarily out of stock. We are expecting a new supply in a few months, and your order will be shipped as soon as possible...."

Since I already got the two freebies from the order (and I can always watch Kwai on DVD) I'm not sweating.

The mystery is now solved. The USPS fucked up the box. I received a clear baggy from the USPS stating that they are sorry but they sometimes make mistakes(do they really think that is all that they need to do to rectify the situation?). All that was in the clear baggy was my invoice. Hopefully CH can get some compensation from the USPS.

That is really bizarre. I still haven't received anything.

It's hard for me to believe they lost or damaged two shipments from the exact same originator, going to different recipients in the same small state, containing the exact same title, shipped on the exact same day.

I'm still waiting for my order that was shipped on 12/15. I use to take only 2-3 days to get to me. I got 2 other orders that shipped after that one. I shot CH an e-mail asking if there is anyway to track it, since I was hoping to give it as a gift, but they never gottn back to me. Does anyone know how long I would have to wait until CH considers it lost.

30 days? They use media mail which takes a back seat priority wise at the post office.

^30 days is correct.

^^Unless you opt for express shipping there is no tracking as regular shipping is done via media-mail. Depending on the route taken it could be anywhere sitting on a dock awaiting space on a truck headed your way.

Buying that 8th title actually makes your cost per go up a small amount, took me a while to learn the art of account cycling.

More than likely, just one title is OOS. They will wait to ship complete to cut their shipping expense.

i just checked and now it says they've all been shipped but that Rear Window is backordered and likely to be in-stock 12/30

I actually received a shipping notice e-mail today. I have been a member for a long time and have never before received one. It even had a link for me to track the shipping of my order!

Any one else order the most recent Doctor Who titles(Mask of Mandgragora,Curse of Peladon,Monster of Peladon)?
I ordered all 3 and status still shows backordered after nearly a week since placing the order.
