They often lure people in and then after many order add free shipping. Its why I wait until near the end of the date of the sale.

It wouldn't make a lot of sense, as offering free shipping would nullify the 6 item per order limit.

On the other hand, this is CH we're talking about.

There isn't a 6-item per order limit. It says "Offer limited to 6 qualifying items per order." That means the promotion code limits the discount to 6 items. Pretty sure you can still order 20 items if you want to, but only 6 will be discounted with that code...

Yes... what I meant was that if CH gave free shipping, people could just place multiple orders of 6 items each - thereby defeating the purpose of limiting discounts to 6 items per order.

Avengers is some sort of special purchase for CH, so no special offers or bonus points are going to work for it, at least for the foreseeable future.

Be aware that the free Hullk is the dvd version, not the blu-ray. So you have to pay like 40 bucks for the 2 disc combo pack with a dvd of the hulk. Not such a good deal.

they have had Thor and Captain America available at both clubs, so The Avengers doesn't surprise me.

But Thor and Captain America were distributed by Paramount, so that was more surprising for DMC to have them. This is the other way around.
