Seriously? Maybe I better delete my post.

How are they gonna find me if all they know is my name is Al and I like spending time in Lake Tahoe?

Then I suppose we would just send them all back & get a complete refund.. Or would they expect full compensation for what we ordered? How did that previous one work out?

Re: Columbia House Sale Offer Codes, Part VI

I received my orders a short time ago and upon opening the Poltergeist digibook a very strange looking disc was revealed.

It looks like the title on the disc has been lightscribed and the underside is blue like a dvd-r so I decided to put it in my Blu-Ray drive which confirmed my suspicions that this is a DVD. Has this ever happened to anyone else?

Some people settled with CH after getting nasty legal threats. All they did to me was bill me $200 for the discs I ordered.

This isn't exactly the same though. I'm sure that promo specifically said buy 1 get 1 or something of that sort, so you knew you were wrong in getting 4. This promo specifically said 15 dollars off, no minimum and nowhere in the terms did it say any limit to how many people could use.

I remember the Buy 1 get 4 free offer a few years back in July. I don't remember it being a glitch other than it working more than once per account maybe. When did they send out letters or emails from lawyers threating legal action? I don't recall ever being billed for the other DVD's either.

Looks like selection # 13490892 in your cart with any disc zeros its price and charges regular disc shipping ($2.99 total if you've got that offer; $2.99 1st item, $1.99 2nd item if not).

(I had to laugh at "Club Price $30" when the max value per card is $14. )

CH also has a "Spin and win" promo going on also. Play the game and see if you win. I did not win, but was given 10% off for playing. Code is "SpinWin" for 10% off total order.

Picked up a cheap BD and took advantage of the "free" tix deal along w/ the 10% code. Total for movie and tix w/ shipping came to $9.80.

Terms are kinda deceiving....

I need to fulfill my membership agreement within the next 14 days. I need to buy 2. Any suggestions on the least expensive way to do this? Any bargains out there?

Is everyone getting charged shipping for the tickets? No matter what DVD I put in my cart it charged $1.99 shipping for the tickets.

It seems to work with the clearence titles even though it shouldn't, but it still charges shipping for the tickets there as well. How do these ticket work? Does CH email you a code to use or mail you some kind of gift card? I would try the clearence titles even with the extra shipping if that would work; but I don't want to buy them if they won't send out the free tickets.

It would seem that the free shipping on the tickets only works if you received the offer and clicked through the e-mail. BTW, thanks for the SpinWin code, darkdaze. For some strange reason, it deducted 19% off of my order of 12 Monkeys Blu-ray.

It's also taking off 19% on South Park Season 15. which covers the shipping

20120320SCST8D

DVDs at $10 each when buying 3+ or $12.50 for 1-2. Works with the free movie ticket offer.

Nice find on the Fandango and code. Can you get the free tickets on multiple orders?

Pretty good deal with some of the $8.97 BLU-RAYS (even less with the code, which for me was also above 10%) - Tremors, Sky Captain, Lost in Translation, among others.

I happened to check one of the emails I received recently and it contained the tix offer. I clicked through it and it is still charging shipping for me.

No. I believe it is one per account. The account I used to order the tix with yesterday would not let me do a second order with the tix. Just tried again and it's still no go.

How the hell do you redeem Bonus Points? I have 22 in my account, and I'm trying to buy a Blu-ray that costs $14.97 plus tax/shipping. I should be able to get it, right? How does this work?!

You have to have enough points to cover the MSRP, not the CH sale price. Plus you have to pay shipping regardless I believe.

Re: Columbia House Sale Offer Codes, Part VI

btw, the shipping has been removed from the Fandango tix deal. Shipping now shows $1.99 total for the movie and tix. Depending on the price of the movie, the SpinWin coupon should cover most of that.

Guess I need to shoot an email to CH to see if I can get an adjustment on the shipping for the order I placed yesterday.

The Fandango deal works with CLEARANCE TITLES too...
Example:
Ace Ventura: Pet Detective Jr. DVD $2.78
Fandango Card - Set Of 2(Up To $14 Value Each) Free

Subtotal: $2.78
Shipping & Processing: $1.99
Promo Discount ($0.53)
Total: $4.24

The only downside I see to this is you would own Ace Ventura: Pet Detective Jr. I thought I'd post this for all you cheap bastards!!! LOL

Nice. I think I'll pass on the Ace Ventura title, but I've not seen, nor do I own the other 2. One thing I noticed is that you need to add the tickets to your cart first, otherwise I had a $2.99 shipping charge showing instead of $1.99.

I just got a email with a free shipping offer. But when I click on the offer, it raises everything to full price for me.
