OK, I was out of town away from my CPU all weekend, so what happened? Was B1G1 Blu-Rays just a glitch, or was it a real offer from CH? Is there a chance it'll come back?

I'm thinking that is was not a glitch, because when these type of sales are unintentional, then members tend to have their orders screwed with or cancelled. I have not heard of anyone having that problem, so it sounds legit to me.
It's not like Blu-ray is going to get more expensive. It will only get cheaper and more mainstream everyday. So I think sales on them will be returning. It's just a matter of when. It had been 2 months since the last one, and THAT one WAS unintentional.
Hopefully it will be back sooner than later.

I also got a shipping notice on my order.

4 of the 20 have shipped. Rest are mostly pre-orders, so I can't expect them to ship earlier. That would be cheating the system, eh? lol

Well my order for both Harold and Kumar BD's now shows backorder.

The duplicate order still shows Processing. So I guess I'm not getting anything.

so I have a CH shipping question. When my preorders ship (transformers, speed racer and sweeney todd) will they ship like lost boys is processing...after the release date or does CH ship on or before release date?

They usually ship them on or a day after release date. However, CH sometimes ships higher profile titles the Friday before release. I've actually received some of these bigger titles the Monday before release date.

mmm heres to hoping transformer, speed racer and Sweeney are high profile...lol

I don't think CH would consider any Blu-Ray as high profile. I just got Batman Begins on blu and they didn't ship it out until a couple of days past the release.

WOW so on the website my order for 2 says shipped and lost boys is still processing. I guess its worth the wait but damn they are slow

I noticed in one of my emails, that the picture shown was not of the BR version of the movie. I thought big deal, it's probably just a typo type thing. So I went into my account and checked the catalog number. THEY SWITCHED IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! They switched the damn thing from the BR version to the SD version!!!!!!
I have 4 other orders that are all OK... those have not been screwed with. However the one order, which was Dark City BR and Unforgiven BR... they changed the Unforgiven to the SD version. Here we go AGAIN!

i love all the updates...lol 3/6 were shipped on the 29th..so I guess I will get them next thurs or Fri

Everything is looking good for me. Everything that wasn't a preorder or backordered is shipped. There is one error, but it actually helped me. I had ordered I Am Legend HD-DVD with Hellboy Blu-Ray as the free title. Well, I Am Legend is now gone from the site and my order, but Hellboy is still there showing $0 and shipped. I wasn't sure if I even wanted I Am Legend, so this really works out.

I sent an email inquiring about my order and received a response that Independence Day BD, 21 BD and The Lost Boys BD are all out of stock and that Beetlejuice BD will ship when released.

I don't understand how Lost Boys could be out of stock since it was a pre-order.

Well, well, well! Today I received three of the Blu-rays that I ordered!

I love living less than an hour away from one of their distribution centers.

Am I the only one with an additional order created from "unknown order source" on July 31? I got two pre-orders (L.A Confidential and Cool Hand Luke) and two freebies for $41.xx and now that order, along with a new order is showing in my account. The new order, that I didn't place, just has the two pre-orders, no freebies, and says "scheduled to ship" on the status with a charge of $51.xx.

I got hit with an extra order as well.

Got all four of the items that were not preorders. No weird irregularities on my order history page like some are reporting.

Sounds like typical CH now-a-days. They've done that to me so many times, I don't even like having to call the CS #. Then they're like "you placed the order". I'm like - "Yeah, I placed an order, just not this jive a$$ order" - this one was done by a bunch/corporation of crooks.

just curious. Is there a list of their ditribution centers somewhere?
