Okay. I'm finally getting orders to go through, though not with Free Shipping. 10% off on dramas and B1G1 B-R is still a pretty damn good deal, though...

Hoping that nothing bad happens with all the failed attempts... I (luckily, now) had a big problem changing my credit card for billing, so they switched me over to allow a "bill me later" option, which I used on all of these.

The ones that have actually gone through in the last few minutes are showing up in order history, and I'm getting confirmation emails.

Ended up with:

$28.93 Pre-Order Pale Rider Processing
Standard Men In Black Processing
$37.87 Pre-Order Beowulf Processing
Pre-Order The Forbidden Kingdom Processing
$33.89 Pre-Order Redbelt Processing
Standard 21 Processing
$26.58 Pre-Order L.A. Confidential Processing
Pre-Order Dark City Processing
$26.58 Pre-Order Cool Hand Luke Processing
Standard V for Vendetta Processing

Yes, finally got the free shipping to work. Had to completely clear my cookies and start over, but it worked with code 805640.

One Flew Over Cuckoo's Nest
Close Encounter of Third Kind
Beetlejuice (preorder)
Assassination of Jesse James

Total: $52.50

Not bad, I'd rather have gotten Terminator: Sarah Conner Chronicles, but the free shipping didn't work with that before, hence my problems I think. And the confirmation page everything says "no product found" but it has the right prices, so I think it's just a website issue.

I'm on the phone with them now, at 1-888-467-7404, which I found in this thread.

EDIT: I did reach a live human. ALL of my intended orders went through, and in addition, she had to cancel three other (duplicate) orders. Glad I called!

Same here. I can't even get the homepage, let alone place orders.

Unable to get on the site right now. Can anyone who has placed some orders already tell me if they have the following Blu-Rays available:

The Proposition
The Mist
Night Watch
Day Watch

I know they have Night Watch and Day Watch because I ordered them. They don't have The Mist and I don't know about the other one.

Thanks. Do you happen to know if I could just call them and place an order and still get the deal. My account is a few years old, and I haven't ordered anything for a couple years. I left it open in case something like this came up.

Certainly worth a shot considering the site seems to be toast. If they don't offer you the same deal with the free shipping, just say screw it!

I can now get to columbiahouse.com, but it says that the Member's site is currently unavailable. I'm guessing the stacking free shipping is about to be toast officially.

Well, just tried calling in an order. No dice. I bet that is why the members site is down. They are fixing it.

I'm in and I still have Harold and Kumar 2 and Before the devil knows you're dead both on blu and B1G1F in my cart. Both are blind buys. Loved H&K1 but hear mixed things about the sequel.

Well, the site is back up and it doesn't look like they've changed anything. My orders are still there, the B1G1/FS still works on Blu-rays, it's all still the same.

It looks like all did was fix the problems people were having with checkout.

It seems the free item can't be a pre-order, a set, or have a price greater than $25. Try setting up your cart so that you have one pre-order and a cheap available item to see if that works.

I can get the B1G1 but not the free shipping. Arrgh. (Yes, I am entering the code through the 'details' page.)

Got it to work thanks The Forbidden Kingdom and The Ruins for $15 each. Any free shipping codes that work?

I had some errands that I had to do this afternoon, so I just got around to calling this number. To my amazement, I got a CSR right away. She told me that all 3 orders are there and that I called too late. She said that the orders are processing and that she can't(more likely won't) cancel the duplicate orders. She did say that they are well aware of the problem and that they might cancel the repeat orders on their end and to call back on Monday to find out if they were able to do this. If they do ship out, she told me to just refuse the package and send them back for a refund.

I'm certainly happy that it appears that I'm going to get my original order. However, I'm going to be out $150 until I can get the duplicate packages back to CH for a refund.
