This just happened to me a few days ago.. its their system being quirky, but you dont actually have two orders. I called customer service twice to verify and they only showed one order. Just give the website a chance to refresh, if it already hasnt.

Just found this site, using google trying to see if there is some independent list of DVDs that will be upcoming releases for Columbia House that are not yet available as such on the site.

I am what Columbia House would conisder either a great customer or their biggest headache, as I have been in the club for over 6 years and absolutely DESTROY them on DVD purchases, in terms of savings and funcash. Unless it's a deal I simply cant pass, I almost never buy anything unless it has triple funcash (6 bucks for fulfilling members like me per dvd) and free shipping (twice a year). And when I do take advantage, I buy near or at the account limit (20 movies). So, they either love me for spending money with them or they hate me becuz I average over 400.00 in savings AND accumulate around 200.00 in funcash a year.

Anyway, look forward to watching this thread and learning what I dont know about Columbia House through members like yourselves.

Yes.. you should be getting it Monday or Tuesday. Normally the case when you order "pre-order" dvds well before the release date.

Many thanks!

I went a little crazy and placed 5 orders plus a funcash order.

Also... you can get Ultimate Texas Chainsaw Massacre (2-disc) for free with one of the $7.95 stocking stuffers that's normally $19.95.

Ok seriously...

EVERY TIME I put a code it from my computer at home it gives me an "error, code is not valid/active"

But I can put that same code from my computer at work and it works just fine. What gives?

I've tried multiple browsers, resetting my router, clearing the cache and cookies. What am I missing? This is infuriating b/c I don't have access to my work computer on weekends.

Someone, anyone, please help!

^Wrong thread for general questions. Try the questions thread.

General rant:

All you new users... this is the "Sale Offer Codes" thread. Post codes or quirks related to codes. What you ordered with a good code is OK too as it gives everyone ideas... BUT Everything else goes in one of the other threads devoted to CH.

What are you missing? How about reading? This same question was asked only 9 posts ago, and over and over before that. There is also a dedicated thread for this question.
You're asking for someone to help, how about help yourself and read. It does a body good.

Thanks a lot jerk.

If YOU READ my post you would know that I already know how to enter a damn code.

I've entered them successfully at least 5 or 6 times.

My problem is that I can't get any of the codes to work from my computer at home. Same log-in, same account- just doesn't work.

How about you try to bring some useful information next time instead of just being a pompous ass?

BTW I know not to try and put the code in the cart, I know the codes/sales don't always appear in the banner, I'm aware of all of that. - I swear, some of you all need to get off your high horses.

BTW I did post this in the other thread and so far I've gotten no responses.

I'm generally not a disagreeable fellow, but I'm really disappointed with the attitude I've been given so far.

Clear cookies, cache, history, and autocomplete. Close window. Retry. Presto.

Thank you Jester and McButtons for trying to help me out, I think I may have to go the "Drastic" route with IE7 ugh.

I do appreciate it though!

Getting Casablanca, even though you have to pay shipping, isn't a bad pick to toss into this deal.

The "drastic" method usually works for us @ work, but there have been a few occasions where spyware or toolbars (google, yahoo, etc) were involved & causing the problems.

The other answer you seek has been asked and answered a thousand times too, it's not my fault you just can't read. Pompous ass? Better than a dumb ass. At least add your question to the correct thread.

onto this thread...

Thanks to thejester again for more codes! 804135 seems to be not working on my account today (haven't cleared cookies yet though), but 805645 worked right away, so I am using that right now. Got some stocking stuffer combos for me and some xmas gifts, which pretty much completes my duty for the season.

The Pre-orders for 12/15 are available as the freebies now. Notably the Centennial Collection from Paramount like Sabrina, Sunset Boulevard, etc. Cheers!
