I'd go ahead and do it. Since you are paying shipping, the free one should ship right away.
$16.95 isn't bad for 2 DVDs that you plan on getting anyway.

Just went ahead and did it, now basically I got the whole Teen Titans series for $80, and four free DVD's. Not bad, considering I got $4 in FunCash for an $11 set anyways...

Yes it would. I almost bit on some box sets to fulfill my TV order, but I aint paying $18 to ship. I know FS doesn't usually include sets anyway.

I just bought a ton of HDDVDs from inetvideo so CH selection is really bare.

rut roh!!

So far, NO good, regarding the All-New ColumbiaHouse.com, this morning. All the codes that I have entered at checkout, have come up as Not Valid. And, that is the only place I have to input the codes.

Hopefully we haven't seen the end of the codes as we know 'em. Here's praying that newly activated ones will be on their way shortly.

I still haven't been able to get any codes to work on the New CH page. Maybe thejester will find some new ones on his next run. They could be changing codes completely, not-activated yet for new site, or making them account-specific on new site. Guess we'll have to wait and see, once all members have access to it, and more codes are tried out.

I'll keep tinkering.

I just got approved for a new account and when I try to activate it through the new columbiahouse.com, it keeps telling me my email address in invalid. That's obviously NOT the case as I received my welcome email at that address.

So I'm hoping that this points to the the distinct possibility that there's still some bugs yet to be worked out with their new site, which hopefully includes sale codes.

It may be related to the suspended fun cash time period (until June 20). Perhaps all new codes/formats will go into effect then. As always with CH, patience will probably be the best course of action.

Just curious guys (and gals) but where is the code box on the new webpage? I just can't seem to find it.

Thanks in advance.

If you click on "Details" for whatever offer is shown near the top middle of your screen, at the top of the window that pops up it will say "Looking for the Offer in Your Mailing?" Click on that text and enter it in the new window that comes up.

I noticed that the new CH site requires a SEVEN digit code, so none of the old SIX digit codes will work.

This is from the new site:

An Online Code is a number corresponding to a sale advertised in a Columbia House catalog that you receive in the mail (the Online Code is a seven-digit number printed on the Order Card).

Try filling the code with a leading zero or one, or a trailing zero or one.

I was just searching around for the new codes as well, and when I found the place to put it in (Click the current offer for details, then click the "Looking for the Offer in your Mailing?") it says you have to enter a seven digit code, and on the side they have an example of a code with LETTERS, the example I have is C34T289.

Yeah, I tried adding X,1 and 0's and it doen't work.

The other thing I noticed was the example of the new code shows numbers and letters C34T289.

Well, that's kink. Guess I'll have some re-tooling to do? If I can.

I still only see the old site.

I still saw the old site, so I tried to place an order using one of thejester's codes. I had no problems getting the sale to show up or adding items to my cart with the discounts showing. Everything looked good until I signed in to complete the checkout. Then I was taken to the new page with my shopping cart emptied!

Oh, well. I was going to pre-order Dark City on BluRay and get a free DVD, but without the code I'm not going to bother. With the B1G4 sales, I pretty much got everything I really wanted that CH offered, anyway. I'll just close out my account once I get my last pending pre-order next week.

Last night I had the old page. Placed an order for a clearance title using free shipping code. All OK. Today I have the new page. Glad I ordered last night... *BUT* this order does not show up in the "new improved" order history screen. Hmmm.... not a total loss if it's truly gone 'cause it was an impulse buy. FWIW I *do* have the FC (which is now crap) for the order.

Here's hoping new codes can be worked out!
