fryinpan1 - I think you can use the 800 number from the normal DVD club, but make sure that you are talking about the TV Edition of the DVD club and not the TV Greats club. I've never called about this particular deal though. Maybe someone else can chime in about that.

By the way, I just got my Babylon 5 Season 1 and 2 sets in the mail today. They cost me $10.57 with tax.
I then bought Red Dwarf Seasons 3 and 4 for my fulfillment. They cost $26.21 apiece, which brings my average up, but that's actually cheaper than anywhere else when you include the free shipping that buying Big Fish at 40% off gave me ($11.95). So... my total for all of these ended up being 73.97 (including tax). Not bad, considering that's about what you'd normally pay for one of the Babylon 5 sets.

Yes, the link I gave above should automatically input the code, but make sure you check the terms before signing up. It should say that you only need to buy 2 more DVDs (not 5, which is the standard deal).

On a side note if you're getting Babylon 5 seasons get Seasons 2 & 3 for your enrollments and then Season 1 for your commitment since it's only $50 after the $5 webcoupon. That way you get all three

Does anyone know if they might be adding shows such as The Shield or 24 in the future? Are there certain studios they don't deal with, such as Buena Vista for movies?

got a 2nd HDL account after closing the 1st one. My selections were CSI complete season 1 and 2. It took about 8 days from applying on the phone to receiving the introductory package.
I couldnt get FREE shipping on 3 because they didnt send me any regard my application. So I have to order 2 commitments and get $5 webdvd off.
Got CSI season 1 and 2 and 2 DVDs for around $50

From what I've read, people seem to have more luck phoning in (not with this deal in particular, but with CH in general). But I've had so many bad experiences with their overseas operators screwing things up that I only call as a last resort.

I haven't had a web order accepted in months. However, I usually get a phone order enrollment package about a week after I call.
Just hang up and call back if you get a foreign operator. And for the love of god, be prepared with selection numbers when you call. Don't rely on the CSR to look up the proper discs.
I had a CSR tell me she couldn't find anything for Babylon. I spelled it for her and she was indignant "I know how to spell Babylon!" so I looked up the items on the web site and told her the selection numbers.
So do your homework before you call.

I got my approval email today from placing a web order about 30 hours ago.
Seems everything is on sale so I might have a hard time finding fulfillments over $19.95. I also thought the count as list was as follows posted in the other thread..
$19.95 - $39.94: Counts as 1 unit
$39.95 - $59.94: Counts as 2 units
$59.95 - $79.94: Counts as 3 units
$79.95 - $99.94: Counts as 4 units
$99.95 and higher: Counts as 5 units
but my account shows..
$19.95 to $49.99 1 Selection
$50.00 to $89.99 2 Selections
$90.00 to $149.99 3 Selections
$150.00 and Higher 4 Selections
That with $19.95 titles not counting as fulfillments being on sale alters what I was planning to fulfill with. I was either going to get 2 $19.95 movies or a tv set at $39.95 to fulfill (didn't realize they charge so much for shipping those either which kills it).
Edit: hmm, idiot.. didn't realize the sale price had to do with getting the discount only with purchase of regular priced titles. Thought that was the price.
Still wish the count as list was what was posted in the other thread so I could pick up something like King of Queens with free shipping (do they ever offer free shipping or atleast regular shipping for tv sets?) and have it count as my entire fulfillment.

I don't know, did they change the number of selections that sets count for? I remember seeing the earlier set of rules very recently.
Yes, the shipping for the sets is ridiculous. But with something like The King of Queens, can't you just order it along with a $19.95 title (at full price, so it will count toward your commitment) and then add a cheap discounted disk to get free shipping? That's assuming that they gave you the "three discs ship free" thing on your account.
If you don't have free shipping, you'll probably just have to bite the bullet and get two $19.95 selections.

Unless the count as requirements vary by account I would guess they have changed the price ranges then.
Edit: My account offer is buy one at regular and then $10 off unlimited (the sale price I mentioned in my earlier post). The problem is that means I can't fulfill my account with 2 $19.95 titles because the second becomes $9.95 and doesn't count.
Does this mean I have to wait until the remove this offer before I can fulfill it?
