Since for some reason online apps refuse to submit, just called by phone to enroll, here's to hoping it goes through. Really wanting the Errol Morris titles.

I opened an account with LMT last week and got my DVDs in the mail yesterday! Was a web enrollment.

I should have been clearer: The codes all showed up as 6+4, then only needing 3 if you bought the extra one with enrollment.

Just tried LMT on the CH website. Here is what it says:

"It's true. Choose 6 DVDs for $0.49 each, with free shipping! All you need to do is buy 3 DVDs over the next 2 years at $19.95 or more plus shipping and processing, and you may cancel at anytime after doing so. Plus, our DVDs are always available with great deals, so you can purchase items toward your commitment - - and continue to save at the same time when you order DVDs that are on sale!

There's no risk, your introductory package is sent on a 10-day trial basis and includes complete details of membership. If you are not completely satisfied, you may return the package at our expense and we'll cancel your membership and refund your money.

Pretty good, right?

It gets even better.... Take a 6th movie now for $9.95 with free shipping and have only 2 more movies to buy (instead of 3) in the next 2 years. Plus, you can take a 7th movie for the special price of $9.95 with free shipping."

I get that too, which is the standard LMT deal. Not sure what problem you're having emerald9999. Maybe try clearing out any CH cookies and try again.

Got a "Come back today" code in my email today that is the same as lmt but without the need for a PSN, you can also pay with a CC at checkout. The code is 1kj.

The "D" stands for DVD club. Since the mailings use the four character codes it is best to use the D on phone orders but it can also be used with on-line orders. LMT and LMTD are the same code.

For more details there is a whole thread about this
http://www.dvdtalk.com/forum/showthread.php?t=440402

The only thing i don't understand is. Is this only open to previous BMG members or is it open to previous Columbia House members?

New codes from "we want you back" e-mails: 1kkd, 1kgd

• 6 @ 49¢ plus $9.95 bonus, free shipping ($12.89 total), two to fulfill.
• No PSN required.
• Might require credit card like 1kj mentioned above by Shonn but I have no way to test it without risking placing an order.

I just tried 1kj, 1kkd, and 1kgd on the phone and none of them worked. The only way to get the same offer was with a psn. For those that care, I also tried ordering Red Dragon Directors Edition and was not able to.

^Yes, they may have asked for a PSN on the phone when I used 1kkd (although my notes suggest that they didn't). Since I have lots of them I didn't pay much attention, but in the past just saying that "I don't have it in front of me" has worked fine.

I presume that you called 888-242-3837. The regular Columbia House phone numbers do not work for new accounts using the best codes.

If you haven't ever had an account before you should have no trouble applying on the web. If you have had accounts before you have a PSN (an account number from a previous account). It is only those of us who have had many previous accounts that have difficulty with web applications not being accepted.

Yep, called 888-242-3837. I've had quite a few accounts and haven't been able to sign up on the web for the past few months, that's why I decided to try over the phone (I also wanted to see if I could get Red Dragon).

^Curious. When you say that "none of them worked", what exactly did they say when you gave them the code? And, if they asked you for a PSN, why didn't you just give them one?

I was told 1kKd was not an active code when I applied just now by phone - I had to resort to the reliable old LMT.

Just curious - has anyone taken them up on the trial offers that get you a $25 Walmart GC and a $25 pre-paid gas card? Seemed too good to pass up - plus, they owed me one - I had applied to the BMG music club through a pop-up ad and was suppposed to get a $50 restaurant gift card - but while I was filling out the application, any reference to such offer conveniently disappeared.

I called three times and everyone said the codes didn't show up on their computer. One person tried to give me a crappy deal while the third person could give me the same terms as one of those codes but with a psn. I did accept the third offer with the psn, I just didn't want to have to go searching for one as I haven't kept track of which i've used so i just gave her the psn from the card on the top of the stack.

^ Well, I am baffled. I used the code on the phone only a week ago and it seems to work fine on-line. Guess they decided to pull the new ones for some reason.

Strange... I just tried the IKJ, 1kk, and 1kg codes to apply for a new account online. They all required a PSN, and none gave me a credit card option at the end.
