Now, will I get that offer I wonder? It is the first code I've used & I already have an open account..
LOL...No problem. I think you'll be fine since you're allowed two accounts open at a time.

195? is that the code you were refering to in "The Best CH Canada Code" thread?

Ok, sorry to be a newbie, but I would like to know for future reference where you give your PSN # to: Mailing card? Online? Phone? For instance, I fulfill my 3rd account with CH in about 3 months, want to cancel then rejoin Online... what's to stop me from re-joining CH without the PSN.. Examples?

Thanks again!
Yes, that's the code. You enter your PSN online after you click on the check out button. Alternatively, if you received a mailing from CH, you can simply write the selection numbers for the titles you want on the form and mail it to CH.

There's nothing to stop you from rejoining CH (other than too many accounts at one time) without a PSN. Code A64 does not require a PSN and is currently the best code to use if you don't have a Preferred Status Number. In fact, the standard "we want you back" offer that CH sends out after you have cancelled a membership is A64.

There are better codes like A3Z (6th enrollment title is $16.95 instead of $19.95), but they require a PSN to use.

I did see the free shipping on enrollment on their site today. I didn't see the prices for the advanced bonus offer you mentioned.

Still $19.95 for the 6th & $14.95 for the 7th. Unless there is a code I don't know of.

for the beneift of all other canucks (and to summarize everything said in this thread so far), here is a quick breakdown of the two best deals:

if you have a PSN, use savings code 195:
6 dvd enrollment offer with FREE shipping = 20.76
first fullfillment = 19.95 + 3.49 sh + tax = 25.08
second fullfillment = 19.95 + 3.49 sh + tax = 25.08
total club cost = 70.92
per disc average = 8.87

without a PSN, use savings code A64:
6 dvd enrollment offer with 1.99 shipping per disc = 36.74
first fullfillment = 19.95 + 3.49 sh + tax = 25.08
second fullfillment = 19.95 + 3.49 sh + tax = 25.08
total club cost = 86.90
per disc average = 10.86

1.) how did you compute your taxes?

becase 19.95 + 3,49 + 14% tax = 26.72 (unless your alberta, then lucky @$$ you)

2.) 19.95 titles are usually crap. so realistically, you're spending atleast 24 bucks for a decent fulfillment title.

Bc's breakdown;

Psn & 195

1) 1st 5 dvds - $.49 + 7% tax - $.52 X 5 = $2.60
2) 6th dvd - $16.95 + 7% tax = $18.14
3) 7th dvd - $19.95 + 7% tax + $3.69 ship = $25.29
4) 8th dvd - $19.95 + 7% tax + $3.69 ship = $25.29

5) Total price = $71.32
6) Average per/dvd = $8.92

A64

1) $.49 + $1.99 + $.17
2) $.49 + $1.99 + $.17
3) $.49 + $1.99 + $.17
4) $.49 + $1.99 + $.17
5) $.49 + $1.99 + $.17
6) $16.95 + $1.99 + $1.33
7th)$19.95 + $3.69 + $1.65
8th)$19.95 + $3.69 + $1.65

Total price = $84.11
Average per/dvd = $10.51

You only get charged GST and PST if you live in Ontario. Everywhere else is 7% GST only.

i based taxes on 7% on top of everything including shipping charges.
as far as i know only ontario has to pay both the PST and GST, the rest of us only pay GST.

as for 19.95 titles being crap ... sure, you are right, but there always seems to be atleast one or two crap titles that i can justify spending the average 9 bucks for.

True, & if you think about it, you're getting 6 dvds that are newer releases & would cost you $25+ each, so who cares what 2 titles you have to buy before you can get another 6?
