A3Z

5@ 49c, 1.99 shipping each
1 extra at 16.95 with 2 more to buy later. (Instead of $19.95)

I think you need a previous account number.

Try A64. Same as YYN but no PSN's needed.

HOLY CRAP!!!!

well i just called in to pay for my new enrollment.

after i gave her my cc number... and told her to just charge future purchases to the card, she tells me... 'we have a special today sir- just for phone orders'..

i go.. 'what's the special.." (obviously with a suspicious tone)

she goes.. we have both harry potter 3 and shrek 2 on sale for just 22.99 AND IT COUNTS TOWARDS FULFILLMENT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! (i had to confirm it twice)..

How freaking shweet is that?!?!?!?!?!?!?!

so yeah.. that'll take care of my fulfillment needs for that account.. time to open a new one again soon!!!

edit: checked the website.. they're both sold for 25.95 as preorder price..

Looks like CH Canada is now sending out new renewal offers for their "preferred" customers:

5 DVDs @ $0.49 each
1 more @ $16.95 with 2 left to buy
All with FREE shipping!

You need a Preferred Status Number (PSN) so it's best to wait for your offer in the mail before rejoining. Definitely hard to refuse an offer like this!

Nope. With A3Z you still have to pay $1.99 shipping per DVD. With this offer, shipping is FREE.

How in the hell do you get in contact with these guys anymore? I have been trying to get information via email from them to rejoin the club forever! More so, calling the Canadian number (which I had to search online for) tells you that you need a Membership number to talk to customer service. Argh!!!!!

uh.. automated?

(416) 299-9400

^ call that number instead. it goes straight to their operator. and ten just ask to be transfered to customer service.

you gotta pay long distance if you're outside toronto. but calls mostly lasts for under a minute anyay.

plus best way to join is online.. unless ofcourse you want titles outide the top 200.

Hello, newbie here.

I have question about the top 200 selection(s) as mentioned by stebop. How often does CH Canada change their top 200?

Right now their standard offer is;

5@ $0.49
6th @ $19.95 optional
7th @ $14.95 optional
$0.99 shipping per title
3 left to buy if you take the 6th

they have new titles every tuesdays.

so the last 5 gets bumped out. and get replaced by 5 new titles.. (approximately)

anyway..

use a64 as code if it's gonna be your 1st account.

only 3 fulfillments. 2 after taking 6th selection.

Thanks for the feedback stebop.

I have had 1 previous account which I fullfilled, then canceled.

I then got a call from them asking to rejoin with the free shippin' offer & I just fullfilled that second account recently but did not cancel the account yet.

I just enrolled online for my 2nd open account with CH as I didn't know until recently checking out this site, you can have 2 accounts open with them to the same address. Anyway.. I used the A64 code for the second account. Now I'm shaking my head, asking myself.. what was the point of using that code?.. instead of joining them with standard enrollment?

If I'm not mistaken, isn't the above offer (the standard) better than A64, or do you need this code to rejoin with CH Canada?

Please bare with me. ; )

Hey Krammer,

The current standard offer of $0.99 shipping per DVD is not better. Although you are saving $6.00 on the shipping, you still have to purchase 3 more titles to fulfill your account. With code A64 (No PSN required, anyone can use), you still pay the standard shipping of $1.99 per DVD, but you are only required to purchase 2 more titles to complete your membership.

Let's do the math...

With the current standard offer you still have to buy that 3rd DVD which would cost you a minimum of $17.64 ($19.95 regular club price + $3.69 regular shipping - $6.00 in saved shipping costs). With A64 you're done after two and can put that $17.64 towards the next membership!

DOH! Forgot to mention that. The code on my mailing was 195 and requires a PSN. Whether any PSN other than the one received with the mailing will work remains to be seen...

Aborro,

I guess its time for me to go back to school. ; ) Yes, you're 100% right about the A64 code savings.

Now, will I get that offer I wonder? It is the first code I've used & I already have an open account..
