Over the weekend, I bought seven VCI movie serials from ImportCD's. It was a tossup between them and BlowItOutaHere, my early favorite when I did the math a few months ago. The deciding factor was ImportCD's better return policy. While I don't expect to return anything, VCI has been moving to DVD-R's and doesn't distinguish the format on the outside. If I'd opened a case and found a DVD-R, BlowItOutaHere would have left me on the hook.

The 10% discount just about negated the shipping and handling costs. Price per title worked out to $10.17. Happy, happy.

Do they offer discount codes fairly often or was this a rare occurrence? I was waiting for my Olive pre-orders to become eligible to order and now, of course, the coupon has expired.

That was the first time they ever offered a coupon.

Thanks - I guess I'll take a wait & see approach during the next couple of months until the titles are actually released. They're still the best thing going for Olive discs even w/o the coupon.
