Justice League Complete Series also took a big drop to $37.99.

Contain the full run of both Justice League and Justice League Unlimited.

I emailed them again this morning since they told me they'd update the schedule after a few hours and this was their response at about 10 am:

Hello,

I am sorry for the inconvenience caused to you in this case. We certainly don't
want our costumer to experience this. I would definitely look into this.

I have checked the details for the "Gossip Girl S4 lightning deal" and found
that has been re-scheduled and will start very soon.
I just want to inform you that you will have to wait for some more time,we can
not provide you the exact time frame but you will get the update on the website,
once it start.
I am very sorry for that.

This was a real kick in the ass for me too. I set the alarm, got up, waited a minute or two. Then it appeared for $12.99, which befuddled me as I expected $7.99. I hit refresh again and it was sold out! Ugh! In the span of probably 20-30 seconds, I ended up being 187 on the wait list. It was ridiculous.

Yeah, I meant to post that. They also had the 1st season for $10 (unadvertised). Lots of copies in the racks, too.

What seasons of JAG did you spot, if you don't mind? Anything between seasons 5 and 10?

Most on this forum should know that Amazon's CS will fix problems like t his. I went ahead and checked out and emailed CS immediately (after taking a screenshot of the BF page). When I woke up the price was adjusted.

The Good Wife S1 12.99
Roseanne S1 and S2 3.99 each (the new Mill Creek versions)
There were still copies of Big C and Psych 1-4 at my local Target around 8am when I got there. There are some big 2-day displays where the 4-day displays were last week.

BTW Pretty Little Liars was 10.00 at WM. I happened upon a copy while scrounging for BDs.

I've been wondering the same thing. I expected digibooks to be a hot sale item at WBshop. Maybe Cyber Monday.

BTW most of the deals seem to have come long before BF this year. BF was just a time fo catchup for anything you might have missed during the week and another vendor had on sale.

The live chat person I talked to only offered a promotinal credit of $5. They didn't offer to adjust the price which I would have preferred.

Re: Black Friday 2011 - The DVD thread

I picked up a few TV seasons from Target this morning:

Psych S4
Weeds S6
Mad Men S4

$7.99 each. For Weeds and Mad Men, I already have (or have seen) the other seasons. For Psych, I've seen S1, S2, and part of S3.

Yesterday I ordered Breaking Bad, S1 and S2, from Amazon for $12.99 each. I think that my DVD purchases for the weekend are now complete.

I'm not sure what it was at Wal-Mart, but it's still $4.99 at Amazon, if that helps?

Re: Black Friday 2011 - The DVD thread

The only actual Black Friday DVD I bought from Amazon was Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, Part 2 for $6.99. But then my wife & I went out & about at 10/11am, I stopped at Best Buy, picked up the Mortal Kombat Double Feature DVD for $3.99, went to Target but didn't find a damned thing there, went to Walmart, picked up Resident Evil: Afterlife and The Wizard of Oz: 2-Disc 70th Anniversary SE for $5 each, went to Big Lots but didn't find a damned thing there either.

In order to get the $25 minimum at Amazon though, I picked up Hellboy II: The Golden Army - 3 Disc SE for $4.99, The Chronicles of Narnia: The Voyage of the Dawn Treader: 2-Disc Edition for $8.99, and Night of the Living Dead: Millennium Edition for $4.99. I don't think those were BF Deals, they'd been that price for several days.

I think I should probably take a break now. -kd5-

Re: Black Friday 2011 - The DVD thread

I picked up from Amazon, Bridesmaids and King's Speech for 5.99 and Rio for 7.99. (maybe 8.99). I was not willing to go to the stores for cheaper so went with these. (I think Target had Rio cheaper.) They've already shipped, so that's good. Did hope to get the new Transformers but didn't see it below 10 bucks which was my price point. I can wait for a while longer for that one.

Re: Black Friday 2011 - The DVD thread

Went back to Wal-Mart (now yesterday) at eight AM; picked up "Ice Age: A Mammath Christmas Special", "Pirates Of The Caribbean: On Stranger Tides (DVD) and a 4GB flash card.

And with that... Black Friday 2011 is done for me.

I'm glad I didn't get shot, stabbed, trampled and or pepper sprayed.

Freaked when I saw it at that price. I've only seen a few episodes of that series, but have heard so many good things about it.

I saw about 30 of those sitting on a shelf at Best Buy with a sale shelf-tag right in front of them proclaiming Transformers for $5.99! so I grabbed one. Turned out the sale was on Revenge of the Fallen...

Dammit. -kd5-

Best Buy $8.99 each TV DVD
- Mad Men Seasons 1-4
- It's Always Sunny in Philadephia Seasons 1-5
- Eastbound & Down Seasons 1-2
- Family Guy Volumes 4-8
- FRIENDS Seasons 1-10
- Archer Season 1
- Boy Meets World Seasons 1-7
- Weeds Seasons 1-6
If this has been mentioned already, I apologize, but this 4 sided cardboard dump had a few Blu's for $8.99 as well. I saw seasons 1-3 of Mad Men, and Weeds S6 as Blu's. Amazingly...they(blu-ray) are actually cheaper right now from resellers than the DVD's...
