Went to the local $Tree today and they had an assortment of UMD movies
and 66 (yes sixty six) copies of The Dog Whisperer. That was the only dvd set they had. So if anyone needs one....holler. |

Today I stopped by the before going to BB, looking for cheapies for upgrade and save. They had 2 packs of Bewitched for $1. The Kidman film, and the first 3 episodes of the series. Both with bar codes, both traded no problem.

Looks like those first wave Mill Creek BD titles like Big Business, Straight Talk, Scenes from a mall, Last Dance, etc. They are pretty cheap on amazon.

Honestly, I didn't even bother to look through them... I might have bought one of each title and then it would cost me big bucks to buy a Blu-ray player and then I would need a new HD TV and new HDMI cables and I'ld need a new sound system for the new setup, et cetera... -ptth- |

The one dollar Blue Rays arrived at my local Long Beach CA store. I picked up:VI warshawski
Scenes from a mall Money for nothing Cosenting Adults (Kline, Spacey) Miami rhapsody Disorganized Crime Another Stakeout (Dreyfuss, Estevez, Rosie O'Donnell) and I saw several others. They were just unpacking and shelving several boxes, including regular DVD's as well. Among those I noticed Deadlock (about the 2000 election fight), Falling Angels (which I noticed in the photos earler in this string) and a Royal Wedding documentary. I didnt have time to root through all the other DVD's (some still in their packing box; many of them seemed to be obscure ones), but I suspect I will go back tomorrow morning to see if there are any other BRs I want or any DVD's. Blue Rays for a buck! take that, Big Lots!! |

Damn, I'll buy almost all of those Blu-Rays for a buck- except Money for Nothing which is cropped, and Play it To the Bone which doesn't have the 5.1 sound mix and was a boring movie anyways.
