Replied. Yeah, I decided to keep PMs off, hate having multiple inboxes so just do everything through email now.

Yeah, just used the 20% coupon 4 times. Not as cheap as members will get it, but I won't use the membership after this sale, and it saves me the gas money, so I'll take $16.23 a piece after tax.

The 20% coupon is actually slightly better than using the members' discount on the $70 titles.

I think B&N may have just disabled the discounts at the bookstore links for the sale. I was just about to place an order through the library link and now I'm not getting the 10% discount applied to the items in my cart. Instead it says discounts and lists $0.

Okay I know what's causing it. For some reason when I add the stackable $5 coupon it's causing it to drop the 10% discount. It doesn't do it with a 15% coupon. Actually I'm getting a cheaper price with a 15% coupon and 2 DVDs because I'm losing the discount with the $5 coupon.

Really, it seems to work fine for me. Currently in my cart:

A Christmas Tale BD (14.39 w/20% applied + 10%)
Pepe Le Moko (13.49 w/10% applied)

But you still have to get above $25 for free shipping at the library link, correct?

Correct. There are other options for "No minimum shipping", but none of them are at the 10% off level. I believe 7% is the best you can do there.

Yes, if you want to order only one dvd/bd use the boeing bookstore/ Notre Dame bookstore. They give you a 7% off + stacks 20% off but there is no minimum shipping.

I want to order several, but my impression is that the 20% off coupon just takes 20% off of the highest priced item. So doesn't it make more sense to do one at a time, applying the 20% to each one, rather than make a purchase of several Criterions, only one of which has the coupon applied to it? If I'm missing something, thanks for taking the time to explain it.

You are correct. Just to be clear, you need to created a new account, i.e., different e-mail, for each order.

Given that the sale went "Live" a few hours early, should this not also mean the physical stores will now reflect the sale prices, seeing that they are all tied into the same information system?

I called a local store and they said no, but we won't know for sure until the titles are actually scanned.

re: Criterion Sale? Ever Again? (NOW ACTIVE/ALIVE AT B&N)

Just hit a local store, prices are NOT live yet. Signage says buy 2 get 1 free sale ends today, so I'm guessing Criterion starts tomorrow.

Edit... just for clarification, I saw their computer screen which said in store price (list price) and ship to home as the sale price.

Ugh, I can't get the 20% off coupon code to work with the library link or anything.

Anyone who has been successful care to post the steps you did to get it to work, including the exact link address and coupon code? I know it's all in the OP, but still, it could be helpful to have a working set posted together.

Membership - 10% off, AAA - Additional 10% off or Library bookstore - 10% off with the other 5% off coupon

New Member code: U8K3U4A (not sure if this stacks with AAA)

15% off code: W3P3V9Y (does not work with AAA) - This was supposed to expire on the 18th but it's working.

What kind of prices are people seeing for Blu-rays (after coupons, etc.)? Is in-store or on-line better for Blu-rays?

Alright, I got it I think.

After the library link, new member 20% off, + tax and + shipping, my total for one is sitting at $18.41. That is fine by me, but if anyone knows a way to bring it down even lower even more just let me know.

Use the 7% boeing link for free S&H and then the 20% off for new members.

Well, if you use your membership and AAA discount, things are looking like this
