Ice Man Up the Academy Loverboy Optimists (Peter Sellers) Was from last week's Legend batch Dragon Wars D-War w/ Digital copy (probably expired) Lonely Hearts Curse of the Golden Flower When A Stranger Calls (orig and remake) Starship Troopers: Roughnecks - Trackers Click - these were packaged in slipcases as Adam Sandler Essentials. However the security sticker on one said "Click SE" and the other said "Sandler Line Look" --- I think there was only a "SE" released of this movie though. I'm not sure. Stormhawks: Showdown in the Skies Hero Some of the SNL's that were released for $4 were $3 in this batch: Commercial Parodies and Alec Baldwin |

Took a trip to my closest Big Lots earlier (which is actually the crappiest of the two closest) and picked up a few things:
Magnum P.I.: The Complete Seventh Season (I hope the other six seasons show up at some point) - $8 The Starter Wife (blind buy) - $8 Fear Factor: The First Season - $4 Grosse Pointe: The Complete Series - $3 Don't Come Knocking (blind buy) - $3 Where's Marlowe? (blind buy) - $3 EDIT: Ugh. I just opened Magnum P.I. S7 and the first and third discs are scratched. I know I shouldn't complain for the price but still...and it was the only copy I've seen at any Big Lots around here. |

Shouldn't have bought anything today, but I got:
BOBBY DEERFIELD IF LUCY FELL TAKING 5 (Just cause it looks like a guilty pleasure- billed as "High School Musical with a twist!") WATERMELON MAN YOU CAN'T TAKE IT WITH YOU THE WACKNESS which I didn't think was out on Blu-Ray, but just checked Amazon and it was so I'm pissed now since I don't like to buy standard DVDs that are on Blu-Ray or HD-DVD. It has an insert promoting Blu-Ray inside too! I passed on Man of the House because I thought that WAS on Blu-Ray, but looking that up I see it isn't so I'll get that next time. BTW High School High and My Stepmother Is An Alien were originally released as 2-sided discs with both widescreen and foolscreen, but unbelievably Sony reissued those along with several other titles with ONLY the foolscreen versions, so people who bought new Sony widescreen TVs could watch them with black bars on the sides. |
