It seems like many (if not most/all) of the recent codes have been set up to work online or on their app. I haven't tried this one, but I'd guess it's likely the case.

If you use a code for a free DVD, but don't pick it up, it's basically canceled at 9pm the next day, right? Would that still count as a credit for the Redbox Play Pass reward?

I just had one work again!! :D Maybe that was a glitch when it worked correctly :lol:

Here I was thinking they knew it wasn't working like it should all along and someone finally figured out the code and went home with a nice bonus :D

Just to follow up on the discussion from a couple weeks ago, I had received a rent 1 get 1 free code today and it didn't let me just use it for a freebie, so maybe they really did fix them. Oh well, thanks to whoever first pointed the glitch out on here a couple years ago, I have enjoyed countless freebies, so I can't really complain.

Yes, the message says something like "you must add another DVD to your cart for the coupon to work." Freebies are gone now. Was nice while they lasted!

It comes and goes. About 4 days ago it didn't let me use it, and yesterday it did, so I always try them out. It works more than it doesn't.
