yesh, im happy about the front artwork matching as well. kinda surprised that bestbuy was thoughtful enough to do this lol. still, i wish the spine artwork matched up a lil better. meh, i guess it is bestbuy though

I just noticed the spines not matching up when I got the set home. You would think that they would get this little detail done right. Guess I will have to display the sets with the fronts facing out...

Was anyone able to confirm if the Fast & Furious Best Buy bonus disc with the Blu-ray is also a Blu-ray?

I just bought this today. I haven't watched the bonus disc yet, but it is a DVD.

While we're at it, does anyone know if FYE had any exclusive this past week for Green Lantern? They've had posters with the previous titles in the DC direct-to-video superhero animation series, so I figured they might do the same for this. The FYE rep I asked this week insisted that they'd gotten nothing for it, but I always like to verify such emphatic answers when I can. Anybody know, one way or the other?

I checked with another FYE location and got an unconvincing "I don't think so" when I asked about a possible Green Lantern exclusive from last week. For some reason, I just have a feeling they may have had a poster or something, since they had posters for Wonder Woman and Batman.

i cant confirm either way, but two weeks ago, i did not see anything for gl. and i hear ya on the consistency issue. or rather, lack of consistency on the part of fye (and most retailers most of the time arg!). but that said, it kinda seems fye will do store exclusives in bunches and then do something else. this is how it was with steelbooks, posters, and recently, they had multiple tote bags of several new releases.

Best Buy is having a exclusive red case for Dexter Season Three on 8/18 for standard def

Well, because I love to keep beating a dead horse...

On Monday I was told by an FYE associate (who I consider more reliable than the others mentioned above) that there was in fact a Green Lantern poster given away with purchase! She says her store got them in weeks before the DVD release and have since sold out, but she does remember having them. Another associate then chimed in that he remembers the same. Unfortunately, I still don't have any way of confirming the existence of the poster for myself, but I think I'll need to let it go at this point. I may not be good at noticing all exclusives that that become available, but I'll certainly put in the effort to find ones I want to know about!

The TMNT 4-movie collection at Wal-Mart has a sticker that says something like "Wal-Mart exclusive, Turtle Temporary Tattoos." This is likely true, because the Target version didn't have such a sticker, although none of the Wal-Mart copies had slipcovers, while the Target ones did. However, all copies I saw at Best Buy were of the deluxe variety -- not in a keepcase but in an oversized box containing a circular metal tin holding all the discs, accompanied by extra goodies including tattoos.
