Why not just ban the perps? We'll always need a BL thread.

Oh my goodness. 1 post and I broke the internet. Was friendlier here years ago. Request will be moved promptly.

^Lighten up... it's not *just* you. If you look at the past 3-4 pages you'll see *lots* of trade offers/requests. Without doing a count I would hazard a guess that these posts are at least 50% of the total the past few days. The general intent of this thread is to aleart others of titles/prices you've seen at BL.

So sorry for offending everyone on the board... I was getting alot of emails and wanted to sort things out a little for me. It was selfish, ban me if you want... Didn't know about the BL trade forum or heaven forbid I would have posted there instead, so sorry

On topic... Got lucky on a BL trip today, finding a closing store that had everything 70% off... Got about 17 movies for about $16 total... Selection was low but there were a few gems I re-bought and will return the originals to BL off another receipt.

Seriously! A simple informational post would have sufficed. I'm sure many others are like me and had no idea there WAS a BL exchange thread. Jumping to "or I'll close this thread!" was a little excessive and premature.

Now that I know, I'll be glad to post exchange comments there instead. See how easy that was?

p.s. Discussion over your post have now hijacked this thread even more then the exchange posts LOL

Anyway ...

Stopped by many a location in the greater Atlanta area over the holidays, but have mostly struck out. Still found Singles for $3 and The Hard Word for $2 -- as well as Brick for $3, though it's one I've owned for a year or two now -- but outside of that it's been an uninteresting hunt.

Down to only the wire rack here (and it's 1/4 computer games). No new titles in over 2 weeks (although there *has* been some minor restock of older titles). I'm going through withdrawal!

Saw 'The Last Days Of Frankie The Fly' at my BL today. Passed on it because it was full frame, but apparently that's the only ratio it's in. Stars Dennis Hopper, Keifer Sutherland, Daryl Hannah, and Michael Madsen. Looks like it might be interesting.

Yeah, it's back to the wire rack here with many of the same old titles that have been there for months.

I did manage to pick up a few the previous week:

Thumbsucker ($2) - Been searching for ages!
The Holy Girl
The Big Red One 2-disc
Vincent & Theo ($2)
Brick
Looney Tunes: Back in Action
An Evening with Kevin Smith 2: Evening Harder

Very little here in the last week. 2 of the BL's got a small mixed Sony/Warner/Universal $3 assortment. Mostly restocks, nothing real exciting except Beetlejuice.

Neither did I, I did post one mind you, but also posted my thoughts about the sale on it... but some people have to get all upset about nothing major... thus my sarcasm with my last post

Still no Moonlighting

Did any ony find these Made-for-TV movies from Lion's Gate?:

AMERICAN TRAGEDY
DECORATION DAY
FOXFIRE (Jessica Tandy)
JOAN OF ARC
PIANO LESSON, THE
ROSWELL

Some people said that they saw Joan of Arc, but no more

Personally, I didn't mind anyone posting a few trade and wants here. I've found a few titles for some and they found some for me.

Good news, I have heard there will be as many as 5 different batches showing up at BL in the coming week. 4 of the batches are said to be at $3 & 1 at $6. Will post more when I know more.
