I'm really debating on some Blu-rays... I'd love to get the Incredible Hulk, but at $20 after the discount it still seems a bit high. On the 18th...I'm going to have to decide on Hellboy II, Wall-E, and Tropic Thunder ($31.92 right now!)
What is the general consensus on BD's? Wait or buy?.
Can't wait to hear what some of you guys/gals are ordering!

Join Columbia House and wait for a BOGO sale. All of the titles that you mentioned would be $15 or less at CH during a BOGO with free shipping sale.Originally Posted by nmr1723

We need codes for Dvdplanet. I tried 25offsale of 25%off and neither of them work.

Ha...yeah, the titles sound like they could be porn, but seriously. Screw it, I just ordered the Severin titles from DD and paid an extra 50 cents each. Actually found the Euro Trash set about a dollar cheaper there, too, so it evens out. Put Risky Business BD in my cart at DVDPlanet with Fist of Legend, and apparently that makes it porn-free. The "25OFFSALE" is working there now and was able to get free shipping before the code was applied.Originally Posted by SkullOrchard

I followed all the directions that I could see from suggestions here and on their site: I created an account; I activated it through an e-mail link I received. I used their links to go shopping at Deep Discount (before being redirected I passed through a page that said my account was now activated and to enjoy my savings at Deep Discount). I went straight to Deep Discount, and placed my orders. Between late August and early October I placed seven or eight orders; each time logging through their site and getting the same messages. Probably had $400 or $500 worth of orders during that time, but most items didn't ship until November (which is why I didn't bring this matter to their attention earlier). I don't know why it didn't work for me. I may try one last time during the upcoming 25% sale. I offer my experiences just as a warning - don't count on the cash back...but as far as I can tell, it doesn't cost anything to try it, so you've really got nothing to lose.*
*However, does linking to Deep Discount through the Cash Back program negate any of the kickbacks DVD Talk would get if we linked through them? Or does DVD Talk only get money back when we use their coupon code?

It appears CD's are NOT included this time, and I'm extremely bummed. I had a CD wishlist I'd been compiling for this sale... There doesn't appear to be any good CD deals out there this season.Originally Posted by cdollaz
I hope they include music also.
That's the bad news. The good news is 25%, and my DVD wish list will probably be setting me back quite a bit this month.

Fye.com just started a BOGO sale on select titles. Ergo Proxy and FMA Season 2, Part 2 are part of the sale. You might want to take a look to see if anything else floats your boat.Originally Posted by keithhelms

It seems to be very hard to find the Superman Returns blu-ray with Dolby TrueHD sound. I would suggest ordering it from the Warner Store. Their prices are good and there's a 25% off coupon right now. You have to order at least two items to get the discount and spend $50 to get free shipping.Originally Posted by bloomcounty
I didn't know that about Superman Returns. Why are stores still selling the bad one then? Is it harder to find the new/fixed version?
The code is NBBM8.
You can look at all their blu-rays here:
http://whv.warnerbros.com/WHVPORTAL/...tleORCastCrew=
For Superman Returns be sure to order the one with Dolby TrueHD. Click on the bottom blu-ray symbol in the chart opposite the listing for SR that says their price is $24.95 (you'll get 25% off that price with the code) and it'll take you to the correct page. Oddly the price is cheaper for the "good" one than for the "bad" one.
My copy was just delivered today!
