I purchased Thin Blue Line (along with all the other Errol Morris titles from the MGM box set) in quantity at my Portland, OR area store back in July. Must have been lucky.

Must have been a very, very limited thing then. Thanks for the confirmation anyway! I went ahead and ordered it during the DD sale after getting the other two Morris titles at Big Lots. Great flick.

Sabata Trilogy
Species Trilogy
Fox in a Box
Thunderbirds
IGPX - Immortal Grand Prix set with T-Shirt

I had to pass on the Woody Allen and Rocky sets thought because I have zero money right now. Although I can't promise I won't be back tomorrow grabbing them anyway.
Found these myself, happily. Got 3 of the 6 disc Allen (me, father, basaro) 2 of the 5 disc (me, father) and Kaze, Michael Moore for me alone.

I did find the 2 disc Bowling for Columbine in a SET by shaking various sets until I heard the tray rattling.

Also, still plenty of each set still left.

Still looking for those box sets, which have not arrived in my area - however, my local Big Lots! did get a brand new shipment of $3 DVDs, stacked in an aisle display. Saw many repeat titles from the former shipments, and a few new ones already mentioned here such as L'enfant, Vertical Limit (superbit) and Daytrippers FS. I picked up:

Kung Fu Hustle
Hollow Man (superbit)
Silverado CE

Hoping to find Gerald McBoing Boing, the colorized Killer Shrews / Giant Gila Monster or any of the MGM Midnite Movies I missed: Mars Needs Women, Attack of the Puppet People, Monster That Challenged the World or Planet of the Vampires.

These two are available at Amazon 3 for $10 (along with a few other Midnite Movie titles not mentioned). They also have many of the regular $3 MGM titles found at Big Lots as a part of this sale as well. A couple of cents more but less digging.

The Box Sets have finally arrived in the SF Bay Area! I pretty much picked up everything I wanted after making the rounds. The only box set that hasn't shown up yet is the Woody Allen $13, 5 DVD set.

I picked up

4 of the Woody Allen $16 6 DVD set (Hannah and Sisters ed) for Xmas gifts. There were tons of them left over
The Sabata Trilogy
Rocky box set
Fox in a Box
Species Box set

I passed on the Michael Moore set, Hannibal set and quite a lot of the cited anime sets.

Angel Tales - Volume 1 + Series Box & Plush Dolls
DICE - Volume 1 Combo Pack w/ Action Figure
Galaxy Angel - Volume 1 Limited Edition Box (w/ figures and pencil boards)
IGPX Uncut - Volume 1 Special Edition w/ T-Shirt
Scrapped Princess - Volume 1 + Figure in Box

I did however pick up Kaze no Yojimbo ($10) complete collection
Argentosoma complete collection ($10)

The only box set that was in short supply and hard to find was the Species Box set which I finally tracked down after visiting two stores. I don't think the Woody Allen $13 box set has arrived yet, and so I will still be on the watch for them this week.

For those of you in the West, waiting for the boxsets, don't give up hope, they have finally arrived in the West Coast. Working their way down from Sacramento to the Central Valley and up from L.A. to finally arrive in the Bay Area.

Found only one Rocky box set at my local Big Lots, but they had plenty of the Foxy Brown, Sabata and Woody Allen sets. So the box sets have definitely arrived in San Diego!

Has anyone seen either of the Woody Allen boxed sets in the Fort Lauderdale area yet?

Popped in earlier today.

Kind of a shit selection; I think they had about fifty copies of "No Mercy." They only seemed to have the Sony/MGM stuff. Saw no HBO titles.

Also, the display was about six inches behind a fucking pole, so it was hard to dig through. Did manage to pick up Art School Confidential, Code 46, and Mothman 2D.

Was hoping to find Equus, Leon, and the Bill Maher disc.

I would say yet...BTW the retail price is actually $99.98.

Speaking of which, someone from different forum has seen the Panda-Z: Complete Collection (Anime Legends) for $3. Has anyone here seen this? This just doesn't seem right, since this collection was released this April.

Yes, I can confirm this, I purchased a copy two or three weeks ago alongside The Great Horror Family. They were both labeled $3.00 at every Big Lots I've been to that carried them. I just found the new $10.00 Bandai shipment at my Big Lots, everything mentioned so far, nothing new. My Big Lots also put their Sony display about a foot behind a pole as well.

Look at how one Big Lots Store ridculously stock their Anime Boxset (and YES!, right beside it was a very dirty dusty dolly board)

Arrgh! There is the elusive Woody Allen 5 disc box! I want to reach through the screen and grab it. That is the only one of the mentioned sets that never made it to any of my local Big Lots.

I can confirm that set as well. It was 3$ at the Big Lots in Morgantown, WV. I didn't pick it up though since i had no clue what it was.

Finally found Saraband and Howling II: Your Sister is a Werewolf today. I picked up two other titles that I don't see on the list:
The Big White (2006, Echo Bridge)
The Beatles Explosion (2008, Legend Films)

Figures. Just found the Woody 6-set in the Derry store (they had 3 copies), a few days after I've already arranged a trade for it. Also saw 3 Hannibal sets. I think they must've been there last week but they probably didn't have room to put them out or something. I picked up a Woody set anyway so I can start watching, so that means I'll have an extra to trade when it arrives. Derry is the only store to get the sets in this area so far.

Stopped by another Biglots and saw many of the popular titles including superbits and box sets. Notable titles I saw this time for $3 are:

The Dying Gaul
The Memory of a Killer (a Dutch language film)
Saraband (a Swedish language film)
The Legend of Suriyothai (a Thai language film)
Forever LuLu
Sweet and Lowdown WS/FS flipper

Nothing new at all this week in the Twin Cities. The truck unloaded a day later this week (Saturday) due to the Labor Day holiday. Nothing in electronics at all, according to "Lucas" (Knollwood), who seemed well-informed.

I also learned that our area is serviced out of a warehouse in Columbus, Ohio, while the West Coast gets it's truckloads from a Rancho Cucamonga, California location.
