Picked up the following for $3 (or less, with recent coupon) at a couple of different Big Lots in my area over the last week or so:
-Bubba Ho-Tep:CE
-The Brood
-Scanners
-Paths of Glory
-The Woman in Red
-To Live and Die in LA:SE
-"X" The Man with the X-Ray Eyes
-Rollerball ('75)
-Hell in the Pacific
-The Ghoul
I was hoping to find Killer Klowns from Outer Space but had no luck. I am considering some others as blind buys down the road: A Bucket of Blood, The Falcon and the Snowman, Needful Things, Frogs, Amityville 2:The Possession...anybody who has these discs have any opinions on them or the movies themselves (I know none of these would be considered cinema "greats") Any other recommendations?

Should've read this thread on Sunday.
I Forgot they usually honor the 20% coupon all day. They've done it many times.
Oh Well. I hope I remember next time (probably in October/November) Love those coupons.
I haven't seen Europa Europa.
Angels in America and Maria Full of Grace had very limited stock. The most I would see in a single store were 2 copies (if they had any at all)
Guys and Dolls I saw more copies, I would usually find them at the bottom of the display (probably hidden by the employees) but they go fast.

Needful Things is actually a pretty good flick. The top of the 2nd tier Stephen King films. It's not as good as The Green Mile, TSR, Misery or Stand by Me. It's good though. I wish they would officially release the 3-hr directors cut of the film they show on tv.
Amityville 2 is the best of any of the amityville flicks, including the original and remake.

The first time I ever saw the "Guys and Dolls" discs at Biglots was in the big MGM display at the bottom. I bought one for my mom. They had about 5 more of them and I would have grabbed a couple more if I knew they were going to go that fast. The next time I went back, they were all gone.

'Burnt Offerings" was a blind buy for me, but I did watch the movie trailer on the DVD. If it was 1976 again I would be so ready to hit the drive-in to see it. I doubt the actual movie will meet my expectations now...but I have to wait and save this one back for a dark and stormy night. "Extremities" with Farrah Fawcett was well worth the $3.00 I paid. "Foxy Brown" has some great dialogue among other things and I'm glad I went back and picked it up after looking at the reviews on Amazon.com

Found the HBO restock today, got Cracker s3 and Angels In America which I had not been able to find before. There was only 1 copy of AiA , but at least 5 copies of Cracker s3. Still looking for Hitchhiker Vol.2 & 3 and the new MGM restock has still not shown up - I'm waiting for the rest of that Allen and World Films stuff.
