Assume that all of these are available to all customers unless specifically listed as member only.

Mini FAQ
Coupons should not work for PREORDERS , Criterions, Nook, Legos, Rosetta Stone, Digital, Gift Cards, Memberships, etc.
Free Shipping is $25 (before tax/shipping) or with membership.
Online only a single code can be applied to an order

Return period is 14 days after delivery though possibly it's 30 days now for most people though there is a discrepancy b/w the receipt and website.
Online ordered items can returned to a local store unless it's classified as a web-only item then it's at the store's discretion to accept

Single Item 15% OFF, but should be reusable in different transaction and if the Clerks will scan it more than once.

Sorry I missed this post the first time. Anyone can use the link to get the discount. However most of the links are shutting down at the end of November. It doesn't appear there are going to be many working links remaining after that date.

Thanks for the feedback. I guess you just need any American Express card to activate the code.

Does B&N not mail pre-orders till the day of actual release or do they send them a couple days early so you'll have them on the day of release?

Day of I believe. My copy of Night of the Hunter didn't ship until the official release day.

Thanks, LASER. It seemed like that was the case, but I just wanted to make sure. I tried to find something on the site itself, but didn't really have any luck. I thought maybe it was intended for library employees, education workers, etc. only.

Thanks again for the work that you do to keep this thread going, I know it's helped me maximize the value of my membership. More than likely, this will be the end of the road for my membership (the positives no longer outweigh the negatives and I don't like the changes to Membership that they've made), but if the $5 off coupons work during the next B&N sale, I might sign up again.

Crap, I didn't know that! I see that now. Boeing doesn't say it, however, so I hope that one stays... The Library one will be missed for sure...

That's when my copy of Night of the Hunter shipped and it was delivered today by UPS. However my order for Modern Times didn't ship until last night and is expected to get delivered next week on the 23rd.

I didn't check every link but noticed a few didn't have any message about shutting down. Will have to wait and see how many of them actually shut down after the 30th. Hopefully there will be a few around that can still be used.

My Night of the Hunter arrived today from UPS but the Sternberg set I ordered at the same has yet to be shipped. It's showing the 23rd as the ship date.

Re: Barnes And Noble Coupon Thread Part 2

Is anyone else having issues with the website? It's slow as hell for me especially when I try to get into my cart. it's not my computer because it's the only website I'm having trouble with. Maybe it's a sign from a higher power trying to prevent me from buying more Criterions.

The web site has been slow for me even before the sale started.

Great price for Gone With the Wind 3 disc set. It's $11.33 with the library link. Unfortunately they have it fixed so you can't use coupons. I've had this on my wish list and earlier today it was about $30.

Gone With the Wind (The Scarlett Edition) $12.59

A bit of a guilty pleasure, I bought the Elvis Blu-ray Collection because it's a good price at 27.49 and there's no coupon blocker, so with discounts and coupons you can get the price down even more.

Re: Barnes And Noble Coupon Thread Part 2

This new "coupon restriction" at B&N is quite ridiculous. I was not allowed to use a 15% coupon to save an additional $3.15 on the 40% off Sherlock Season 1(list price $34.99), but I was allowed to use a 15% coupon to save an additional $3.00 on the 66% off Life (list price $59.99 - David Attenborough version).

So, I couldn't use a coupon on a 40% off $20.99 title, but I could use a coupon on a 66% off $19.99 title. Makes no sense.

Do you think it might work with Visa?

Are you sure you had something in your cart that was eligible with coupons? B&N has been making a lot of DVDs not eligible with coupons recently. There was an earlier post that claimed it worked with a American Express blue card.

Re: Barnes And Noble Coupon Thread Part 2

Just a heads up there are going to be some 30% online coupons coming. I saw the code I posted on another web site but not sure if it is legit since it is coming up as an invalid code a B&N.com at the moment.

http://cart2.barnesandnoble.com/shop...p?promoid=8910

Code:P4A4N7P

Online Coupon Details:

For each customer, this coupon can be redeemed once per billing address online at BN.com.

This coupon is valid from November 23, 2010 to November 29, 2010 at 2:59 a.m. Eastern Time.

The additional 30% discount will be applied to the most expensive eligible item in the order - not the entire purchase - and will be deducted after all other eligible discounts, including (if applicable) the standard Member discount, are applied.

Additional Rules Governing Use of this Coupon: This coupon is (i) not redeemable for cash or cash equivalents (including Gift Cards and online Gift Certificates); (ii) not valid on past purchases; (iii) not eligible for purchases of the following products and services: Barnes & Noble Memberships, Gift Cards, Gift Certificates, gift-wrapping, textbooks, video games, digital content (including but not limited to digital books, magazines, and periodicals), NOOK(TM) and related accessories, other hardware and electronics, software, products available for pre-order, products from the Rosetta Stone Series, products available for in-store ship-to-home orders, shipping or handling expenses, or products marked as not eligible for "coupons or promotional discounts;" (iv) not valid on purchases made from third parties accessible from the BN.com website (e.g., used books, PC and video games, etc.); (v) may not be combined with any other coupon; and (vi) may not be combined with the Educator program discount. This coupon is not valid at any Barnes & Noble retail bookstore or Barnes & Noble College retail bookstore. Void where prohibited by law.

Boy, I hope this one is for real. I can definitely find something to use it on if this turns out to be true!

Ok, when will the 50% off Criterion end? I don't want to wait for the 50% deal ends to wait for the new coupons
