Free Shipping is $25 (before tax/shipping) or with membership.
Online only a single code can be applied to an order

Is there any chance that another 25% off coupon will be put out, specifically before the Criterion sale ends?

Re: Barnes And Noble Coupon Thread Part 2

Would like to get that America Lost & Found set, but even if I thought I could get someone to take the coupon in store on a pre-order, the ~$70 w/ tax price is just too much more than I want to spend.
Last year B&N kicked out a 40% off coupon (or was that just on books?). I'll wait till I can get it for closer to $60.

I've got to make up my mind soon, but I think I'll be using the 25% coupon on The Fugitive Final season. Not a killer deal, but the release is high on my buy list and that would be the best price on it for a while.

Got Fantastic Mr. Fox online for $13.20. Cheapest it's ever been anywhere and I've been wanting if ever since I rented it. Great movie that not too many people saw in theatres.

Hmm...can't find much for the 25% off either...how do people feel about the 3-disc Apocalypse Now Blu Ray for 33.74...

Hmmm. Didn't realize the printed coupons expired today too. For some reason I just couldn't get motivated this week to go pick up more Criterions, even though there are still a few in stock that I've convinced myself I want.

Too much media I already have sitting here. I really need stay out of the bargain threads for a while and just kick back and enjoy all the great stuff I've got.

You can get the America Lost & Found set for about $63 with the 10% coupon at DVDEmpire.

Re: Barnes And Noble Coupon Thread Part 2

Does Barnes and Noble have any kind of price protection deal? I bought a book from them yesterday at full price, completely forgetting about using coupons for some reason (maybe because it wasn't a dvd purchase)... and today there is a 10% coupon (not as good as 25% but it expired)..... if I went back today with my receipt and the 10% coupon, would they refund me the difference?

No signs of any 25% online/store coupons this week. It's possible there could be some store coupons but there are no guarantees. Hopefully you made use of the 25% coupons while they were around last week. Still should have the $5 coupons which are great for a lot of the Criterion titles if your store doesn't give you any hassle with them.

America Lost and Found dropped to around about $73 today at B&N.com. With the library link you can save an additional 10% off, but DVDEmpire is the better deal for now.

B&N doesn't have any price guarantees, but you should be able to return and repurchase the book with the 10% coupon if done before the 14 day return window.

How so? The BD set appears to be $87.42, so even with a 10% coupon B&N appears the winner here? Unless I'm missing something?

Where are you seeing $87.42? I didn't say it was the lowest price. Just that it had a significant price reduction over night. With the library link it is currently $66.24 before any applicable sales tax. DVDEmpire is slightly better at $63. I have a feeling that price will be beat before the release since DVDEmpire usually doesn't have the lowest prices.

He's looking at the BBS blu on DVDEmpire, which is 87.42

Thanks! I didn't check their web site to verify the price. Not sure how you can get to $63 with a 10% coupon as the post above claims at DVDEmpire.

Exactly; B&N for me - I need it for Christmas (it has to cross The Pond), the price is right. I'm in. (EDIT: The $63 price at DVD Empire appears to be for the DVD set)

Re: Barnes And Noble Coupon Thread Part 2

So question. I paid $75 with a 25% coupon, but it was off a $90 price. What chance do I have of a price adjustment if I go back in?

I don't know if they would give a price adjustment and allow the 25% coupon, but I would certainly try. Worst case scenario is they say no. I would assume you could cancel and order again at the lower price if they would not do it.

Re: Barnes And Noble Coupon Thread Part 2

Got some B&N coupons in the mail today. Nothing special- 15% off one item (1 good till 12/6, the other good from 12/6-12/24), and some coupons for the cafe.
I'll see if I can get it to work with a pre-order of the BBS set tomorrow when I pick up the new titles.
If not, no big deal. Looks like a cool set, but nothing is in it I can't easily wait another six months to watch.
