Assume that all of these are available to all customers unless specifically listed as member only.

Mini FAQ
Coupons should not work for PREORDERS , Criterions, Nook, Legos, Rosetta Stone, Digital, Gift Cards, Memberships, etc.
Free Shipping is $25 (before tax/shipping) or with membership.
Online only a single code can be applied to an order

Return period is 14 days after delivery though possibly it's 30 days now for most people though there is a discrepancy b/w the receipt and website.
Online ordered items can returned to a local store unless it's classified as a web-only item then it's at the store's discretion to accept

Single Item 15% OFF, but should be reusable in different transaction and if the Clerks will scan it more than once.

Expiration 12/31/2020 and despite the coupon language is only good for In-store coupon Eligible items.

The long standing Free 60 day Trial Offer was discontinued in late May 2016

Re: Barnes And Noble Coupon Thread Part 2

I hate to say it but B&N is making it tougher to find coupons. Over the last few weeks they have slowly stopped issuing a lot of the codes with the new coupon information on their web site. On many of the coupons they are only stating the value of them with the fine print, but without the actual code to use on the web site. Looks like there are going to be fewer coupons I can post in the future since there is no longer a code available. I might still be able to find some coupons but unfortunately expect to see fewer unless the codes can be found.

Here's an example of the new changes.
Renewal Reward: 15% Off 1 Item Coupon Details

For each valid and current Barnes & Noble Member account, this coupon can be redeemed once at any Barnes & Noble retail store and once per billing address online at BN.COM. Coupon is valid only in conjunction with the renewal of an existing Membership in the same order.

This coupon is valid from September 20, 2010 to October 1, 2010 at 2:59 a.m. Eastern Time.

The additional 15% discount will be applied to the most expensive eligible item in the order -- not the entire purchase -- and will be deducted after all other discounts, including (if applicable) the standard Member discount, are applied.

Here's an example of the new changes.
The writing is on the wall for BN. The membership holds less value now (cmon 2 day free shipping vs 3 day freeshipping before = no value). They continue to run sales boldly proclaiming 50% off when it is only 50% off MSRP. And now, no good coupons.

With their B&M stores up for sale, I don't see them lasting much longer. With that said, all your effort in this thread has been much appreciated!

...and here all along we thought Borders was going to fold, and now it looks like B&N. I guess this is all on account of Amazon, and the like, leaving them the 800lb gorilla in the room. This has been my fear all along, that Amazon would become the only game in town, (or at least the only behemoth), and be able to control prices on so many commodities.

Ultimately, it is the consumer who will suffer, when all serious competition has been vanquished.

Lasermovies, thanks for all the hard work you've put in to find coupons. Seems like B&N is signing its own death sentence.

It still looks like they are going to issue good coupons. Check below what is coming later in the week. It appears the same coupons are still there but B&N has decided to hide a lot of the codes from public view. I guess it is an attempt to thwart internet forums and bargain web sites from posting them all. Apparently they are trying to have more control on which customers get them to limit the usage. I probably won't be able to post as many and will probably have to rely on more help from other forum members to keep the thread going. Sadly the list is already shrinking since I have no codes to post. It also does not help that B&N cut off a lot of my emails for coupons.

Well, if things do dry up on the coupon front, I want to thank Laser for all the great codes he's shared here over the years.

Did the 20% new account coupon finally expire? I haven't looked for it in a while. I will truly miss it...

I think they stopped the new account coupons since I could not find a new one after the last one expired recently.

Amen. It's been said before, but LM has added untold value to many of us who shop at bn.com. Thank you!!!

I wonder if that 30% off coupon with mastercard refers to MSRP, or bn's listed price? If that latter, it's a hot deal.

Looks like there is going to be both a store and online coupon available. From the wording in the fine print it appears the discount is off the sell price, and not the MSRP. Usually the Mastercard coupons are a good deal when they have them at B&N.

Re: Barnes And Noble Coupon Thread Part 2

Looks like it has the usual restrictions. I gave the coupon a quick test and it wouldn't work with pre-orders, or stack with the library link. I assume it probably will not stack with any of the others. However it should work with cashback web sites like ********.

It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia: Complete Seasons 1-5 Plus a Very Sunny Christmas for 43.39 plus tax after the coupon. I couldn't get the AAA link to work with the coupon but there was 4% rebate from you know where.

Any my thanks to Laser for this and all the other coupons and info in this thread.

Absolutely! I've picked up some great bargains this year from B&N thanks to Lasermovies.

A lot of movies on my want list to use with that 30% off, including Terminal Island (under $15 w/ 30% off), Se7en (around $20), and Invasion Of The Body Snatchers (under $15 also)- but I ended up going with My Cousin Vinny (Blu-ray) for $12.28 + tax. It's over due for a massive price drop (still has a $35 MSRP), but this far and away the best price I've seen on it since it was released.

Perry Mason Season 4, Volume 2 for $17.80 shipped with 4% back. This is the one set that Columbia House doesn't have as an enrollment selection. Thanks as always, LASER.

Is the 30% coupon a one-time use coupon?

Online, you would need to have multiple accounts to use more than once. In-store, you shouldn't have any problem.

It requires a B&N membership so to be used online wouldn't it require multiple accounts each with its own membership? Or can you link one membership number to multiple online accounts?

Unless there is a glitch with the coupon you would need multiple B&N memberships to use it more than once online with different accounts, and no you cannot link a single membership number to different accounts.
