Interesting...I'm going to give it a go tomorrow so we'll see how my mileage may vary.

I can't use U8K3U4A with any of the 6-7% free shipping links. :(

Have you used it once already?

Yeah, but I was creating a new account. Does it track by shipping/billing address now?

I have not used a new account coupon lately, but it's possible B&N is wising up that customers are using it multiple times, and have come up with new system to track usage more accurately. I've noticed B&N has changed the wording on the fine print of a lot of coupons now that mention the coupon is valid once per billing address. Here is an example from one of the coupons on the first page with the wording.

http://cart2.barnesandnoble.com/shop...p?promoid=8134

This coupon can be redeemed online at BN.COM and is only valid once per customer, per billing address.

It shouldn't. Try clearing your cookies. If no go, LASER might be right.

To use Members coupons for on-line orders, do the billing and/or shipping addresses for the orders have to match the address of record for the B&N Membership?

The strange thing is that it works when not going through the boeing link or any of the other FS links.

I picked up 10 more BD's yesterday. Was able to use $5 off $20 DVD coupon, 15% off one item coupon, 20% off one item coupon and $5 off $50 purchase coupon. Could only use one coupon of each so I tried to maximize by using every coupon available :) I don't plan on making but one more trip so I picked up all that I could yesterday and ordered a few more for my next and last trip. So, the 15% and 20% must be YMMV and I guess I got lucky yesterday.

Where are the 20% and 15% off in-store coupons?

Is this the 15% off $75 order?

I couldn't find any reference to a 20% in the OP.

Thanks!

I was able to use the 20% coupon today but it was odd, the clerk had to call a manager and simply said "I have a coupon on a criterion item" so the manager came and just said "ok" and he typed in in manually.

20% off is under renewal coupons, or here. Obvious credit to Lasermovies.

^^^ They are renewal coupons, very YMMV.

For some reason I can't use any of the % off coupons for a non member and I've never used any of them before, and I just created a new account to use them. What's with this?

What are you trying to use the coupons on? Need more information to answer your question, but here are a few possibilities that could give you problems. If it is Criterions they are not eligible online during the 50% off sale. Also if you are trying to use them with any of the bookstore or discount links on the first page they are no longer working.

Ah yep, it was of course with Criterions. Thanks.

You can save up to 10% on the Criterions if you order through the AAA or library links on the first page. No coupons needed.

Thanks for the links. I don't have a B&N near me, nor am I a member, so online ordering is all I can do. I used the library link today and it worked great!

Gotta say that the change in policy in regards to dropping the extra 10% off and offering free express w/ no minimum, has worked out great for me. I think the trade is well worth it.

I've noticed over the last few months that a few select releases on the week they street, will get progressively discounted towards the end of the week. It starts at 10%, then 25%, and eventually 38% or more. If you wait, and add a coupon, you can get new releases for about 45% off. These net prices usually handily beat Amazon and DD.

And for the $25 membership, it's like I'm getting an $80 Prime membership at Amazon.

I definitely will consider re-upping when my current membership expires in November.

Seeing as we have many other links which offer free shipping, I'd rather have the 10% discount any day... But seeing as they have disallowed coupons for some sales, such as Criterions, it works out better just to buy them in-store. You get them right away and can ensure there isn't a floater disc, you get the 10% discount, and you can use a coupon. For anyone who lives close to a B&N store, that's the way to go...

I agree. The stores have been YMMV for some, but if you have the time, persistence, and can hit multiple stores, it's well worth it.

I was 24/24 on in-store coupons this time around. Some trips were more painful than others, but in the end, I got my haul.

I was declined use of $5 coupon several times during first 5 days of sale but since then things have been fine. About 30 titles all with coupons, usually 2 titles per purchase.

I second that. Very good success after my first try on week 1. Last stop today. Added 4 more BD's:

Red Shoes
Black Narcissus
Everlasting Moments
Secret of the Grain

$47 (4 $5 off $20 DVD coupons and 1 $5 off $50 purchase). Best use of coupons for a single purchase yet!

I nominate the older gentleman at Union Square and the female manager at 54th Street as the clerk MVPs this time around. Both did multiple (3-5) coupons at a time, with no problems, multiple days in a row.
