Re: Barnes And Noble Coupon Thread Part 2
Well, I just got back from my store and they REJECTED my 15% coupons! The manager said "oh, those won't work on the Criterions" and the register said "does not meet conditions," or whatever.
So, I HAVE CODES! PM if you want one. |
Re: Barnes And Noble Coupon Thread Part 2
Bought Rashamon and a Western that I forget the name of. It was cheap.
Used a 15% and 20% coupon. Not sure what she did but I think scanning them didn't work but typing the code in did. |
Re: Barnes And Noble Coupon Thread Part 2
They wouldn't let me use the 15 percent in store on Criterions. Rather ridiculous when so many have used coupons.
|
Re: Barnes And Noble Coupon Thread Part 2
I couldn't use a 20% off in store or on line for a Criterion. On line said purchase didn't qualify. I saw nothing in coupon rules that said coupon was no good with 50% off items. The restrictions are getting worse and worse. So no sales. When I expect one price and they want more I don't buy even if their actual price is pretty good.

Re: Barnes And Noble Coupon Thread Part 2
The register said it did not meet "the required conditions." like Nealg in the post above. This store had been my favorite store for using coupons fo several years.

Re: Barnes And Noble Coupon Thread Part 2
Are there any online coupon codes left out there or was that it?

Re: Barnes And Noble Coupon Thread Part 2

Re: Barnes And Noble Coupon Thread Part 2

Re: Barnes And Noble Coupon Thread Part 2
Barnes and Noble at 5th Ave and 45th St in Manhattan is definately to be avoided if possible. Not only will they not take ANY coupons during ANY dvd sale (Criterion or otherwise) - but they give you a hard time if you try to return something that you ordered on line. All of the clerks there are trained to immediately call a manager in case of anything other than a simple purchase. And the managers there are all trained to be as difficult as possible.

Re: Barnes And Noble Coupon Thread Part 2
Can anyone tell me if the 13-digit non-member discount codes are single-use, or can the same code be used on consecutive days? A bn clerk told me that bn changed their systems in the last several months to eliminate multiple use of the non-member codes. If they are single use, does bn generate them uniquely by ip number, email address or some other way? Reply appreciated.

I don't believe that there are any active codes. |
Re: Barnes And Noble Coupon Thread Part 2
New 15% non-member and 20% member coupons are coming later this week. Should be valid from August 1 through August 5. Also if you have a membership you may get some coupons in the mail during the week. Looks like some have started showing up over the weekend for a few people who have memberships.

Re: Barnes And Noble Coupon Thread Part 2
I picked up The Blob on Criterion last week. The transfer was excellent, but I was surprised that there were almost no extra features aside from the trailers, and usual commentaries. I think this is the only Criterion release I've seen that had so little beyond the actual movie.

I have a trial membership so I will presume I would only be able to use the 15% and not the 20% membership coupon, that is only for paid members?? Thanks :) |

Daft question  The 15% non-member coupon, will it be usable for Criterion's and will it be usable online?

Thanks :) Members should be able to use either coupon, even if you have a trial membership. If you are receiving B&N coupons in your email you should receive a member 20% coupon. However some B&N members have had trouble getting B&N emails for some reason. I don't know if you are in that category? If someone had a 20% coupon to give away you could use it with your trial membership and if the item is coupon eligible. |
