I still have some 15% coupons available if anyone needs one.

Just noticed the 30% off with Mastercard coupon that will be active 11/21-24. Wait to do most of my shopping then? YMMV with any coupon in-store of course. Decisions, decisions.

If you do it at a store you can do this multiple times. Online you can do it only once per account and have to wait to receive a $10 e-gift card later on in your email.

Ideally in store, but I wondered if online might keep track and allow for $75 spent over a period of time. I'd rather not spend $75 in one go unless I "have" to, so I was just wondering if it were possible to buy, say a $25 gift card every five days.

Seemed unlikely, but worth asking!

Here's a pithy theoretical question: if one part-paid with a Mastercard, would the coupon take and then allow one to use gift cards for the other part...? I know some store people will allow you to split between credit and gift card (or cash & cards) if you ask nicely, but would a Mastercard coupon require EVERYTHING to be on the Mastercard, or just one to be present...? Could be worth a go!

It does say to qualify a purchase of $75 or more worth of gift cards is required. Spreading it out over 5 day increments would not qualify for the promotional offer.

I remember online with these coupons you could make the entire purchase with gift cards as long as you initially used a Master Card during check out. I would imagine there is a way to do it at a store but it would require a cashier that would approve or try it to make it happen.

No.
You're changing the promotion.

You must buy a $75 GC to get one $10 GC.

Or a gift card purchase (any combination) totaling at least $75 in a single transaction.

I'll happily take two if there are no other takers. I had such a successful trip last night, I would go back tomorrow for a second haul if armed with the 15% off coupons. Thanks.:)

Check your PMs.

That's all the coupons I have unless I can't make it to a BN store in the next few days.

I feel guilty in taking so many. It is greatly appreciated. I can now complete my haul for this sale until Tokyo Story is released.

I would rather have someone use the coupons instead of letting them go to waste. I still have enough remaining to get a few Criterions at my local store. Maybe I might have one extra 15% if I can use the 20% coupon on the first page.

Laser, thank you for the coupons. I'll be using them this evening (if I have the same cashier ;) ).

Finally signed up for another free 2 month trial. This will get me through the holidays... Excited about that upcoming 30% off coupon! Combined with membership, and B&N MC, it will be very nice!

I had a free trial membership a few years ago and recently tried signing up again with a different email, but it wouldn't let me. Do you have to use a different credit card?

Last night the only "coupons" the register accepted in-store were the generic codes! I was allowed to use each once. They then over-rode the computer to accept unique 20% and 15%, as well as one of the member 20% coupons I received in the mail.

Try those generic codes in-store! I just had them in my phone and the employee typed them in.

Yes, I assumed as much, but my reading was "purchasing $75" with only an implied "...in one purchase." Which led me to wonder if simply using the same account/card might suffice. :)

I see the longer Terms & Conditions do say "totaling" and "one purchase". Of course, they also say online only, so I may still ask instore, since the main advert is unclear...

Or use a gift card(s) that are less than the total, then make up the difference with your mastercard. That would presumably work... Guess we'll find out!

Same here, they have worked well. Hopefully you have nice B&N employees like I do.

Today got a 20% off and a 15% off in email.

Anybody wanna tell me if I'm reading this right. The 20% and 15% off coupons in the op are working and they don't have bar codes? Is everyone just showing the cashier that link on their phones? Thanks in advance.

Thanks Hariseldon! Considering the bar codes rarely scan correctly, perhaps these codes are easier for the cashiers. I'm still a bit trepidatious about using it. I'm so used to coupons with bar codes.

Re: Barnes And Noble Coupon Thread Part 2

Theones I refered to were just number codes. I told the cashier the 6 digit code and she punched it in.
