Re: General Costco DVD Thread
Anyone happen to see if/at what price Costco is selling those 2-movie blu-ray packs like Miss Congeniality 1&2, etc. Looks like BestBuy/amazon has them for $15--was wondering if they were cheaper at Costco.

I seriously considered the 2 disc version of Citizen Kane for 9.99 but I think I'll hold out for the Blu.

Re: General Costco DVD Thread
Chuck Season 1 had been $12.99 at Costco before Christmas so the current price is not the cheapest it has been. Remember it is only 13 episodes due to the writer's strike.
Some DVD prices seem to be going up at Costco. The Warner 2 disc sets had been $8.99 for a while and now they are $9.99.

I've found that individual movies are rarely a good deal at Costco. They can virtually always be found cheaper elsewhere. TV seasons are kind of mediocre. But boxsets are almost always a great deal.

However I still think $9.99 is good price for these. Other than Big Lots I don't think you will find them cheaper.

Yeah, right now those are likely the best deals for those two films, although they have occasionally been cheaper, and CH would be better as well of course.

I saw a several of the 20th Century Fox 75th Anniversary 3 disc sets for $9.99 each. These are repackaged previous releases. Example the 2 Peyton Place movies and A Letter to Three Wives was one set. These may be Costco exclusives as Amazon is showing listings for 4 repackaged Fox films as Quad Classics. As I said Costco's sets are 3 not 4 movies.
Link to one of the amazon sets.

Not sure if this has been mentioned, but they had Stargate SG-1 individual season sets for $16.99/ea. (Edited to note these are standard keep cases, not the bulkier type, I assume even thinner than the thinpak release?)

Picked up Disney's "The Rescuers Down Under" for $8.99 yesterday.
They also had a decent selection of Disney films for the same price. Brother Bear, Ichabod and Mr. Toad, The Goofy Movie, and some other Mickey Mouse movies there all for $8.99. Pocohantas might have been one IIRC.
Anyway, seemed like a decent price since I rarely see the Disney stuff go below ten bucks.

Yeah. I picked up some Disney @ $8.99. Home on the Range, The Wild, 3 Muskateers (Disney Style) Lost City of Atlantis...and a few others. I have seem some of them at $10 but never below w.out a coupon.
