Thanks for the heads up I picked up 1, 5, 8 and 9 of the Gatchaman box sets. Will pick up the rest at some later time. Glad I got eight since there is only one left now. five only has about 26 left and nine 63 or so.

so do we know if this deal is going to be on bestbuy.com? cuz in-store pick up would just be the easiest way for me to get it given my location...

I would assume that we'd know by checking much later this evening or tomorrow morning. I just checked the Protoculture collection, and it's listed as $74.99 and backordered on the BB website at the moment. If the price changes, we'll know that it's available online. Sale stuff usually doesn't appear to be on sale before the sale actually starts.

It will be ridiculously late, like 5+am EST, based on my experiences, so Sun. morning is usually a better bet

Just placed an order for Robotech and Mars Daybreak for in-store pickup. Hopefully they have it instock, because I checked to see if they had it the other day and they didn't.

Anyone seen Samurai Deeper Kyo or Tokko? I actually own most of the ones that just went on sale but what's done is done. I am going to pickup Elfen Lied though.

So if Amazon is going to match BB, when would they update their prices? Or stated a slightly different way, at what time can we safely assume that they are not going match them? (I would prefer to go with Amazon vs. BB, but either way I don't want tot miss out.)

I ordered the Robotech set for in-store pickup. I was debating whether or not to get it, but the price was just too good to pass up.

This is an awesome deal. Picked up Robotech Protoculture, Samurai Deeper Kyo and Mars Daybreak, all for just over $100.

It could be today, tomorrow, or later in the week. However there is no guarantee that they will pricematch this sale (it could also be select titles as well).

Elfen Lied and the Robotech set weren't available for in-store pickup so I had to pay for shipping, the others were though so I'll pick them up this next weekend.

I believe if you tried to get in-store pick up, you can call customer service, and they will drop the shipping for you.

hmm well I definitely tried, but it said those two items were unavailable at the BB I was planning on picking the order from. I guess it wouldn't hurt to call customer service and see.

Thanks for the heads up! It'd be nice to save the $4.

EDIT\ Yep, that seemed to have worked! I contacted customer service (1-888-237-8289) and the man I spoke with said he would credit my account for the $3.98.

Thanks again! A penny saved is a penny earned, almost 4 bucks worth in this case.

Are the extra disks in the Protoculture collection the same ones that came in the original box sets (the un remastered version)?
