PS guys, and i may be totally wrong, but it stands to reason that the previous B1G1 sales were a result of the HD war going on. Now that the war is all but over, it is entirely possible that we will not see B1G1 sales on Blu ray for a very long time.
Now as i said, I may be totally wrong, and i hope i am, but i wouldn't count on any B1G1s because there is basically no war going on anymore.

The last B1G1, the price of each movies were HIGHER than today. With the reduced price, the current B2G1 is as good as the B1G1.
$24 each movie as B1G1 = $12
$20 each movie as B2G1 = $13.33
$15 each move as B2G1 = $10
The Fred Meyers is having a B1G1 this week. If no one is buying them, then i confident they'll throw more B1G1. Be patience....we're only 2 months after the Warner news. I think people have been too spoil by the B1G1 deal before X-mas. I believe they have a Buy 5 DVDs for the price of 1 today ... you might want to consider in jumping on that deal

I really can't decide if I feel I want to hold out for another BOGO. It's driving me crazy.
On the one hand, I think B2G1 will come around again, so I don't feel like I'm missing out on something here. I can also pickup these titles later on after all the blu-ray starts falling in price.
On the other hand, the selection in this sale is a lot better than what has been seen in the BOGO. There's no guarantee that these titles (Like Pan's Labyrinth, Harry Potter 5, Blade Runner that I am considering buying) will be included in any BOGO anyways... Not to mention I have no idea when my 10% off discount will suddenly vanish...

Thanks for the heads-up, toogood.
Thanks for the heads-up, toogood.I am in the same boat, I order 2 of these just 3 days ago. I sent an email as well. If big box stores will price adjust I think a great store like Amazon should to.

I'm going to tell them that if they are unable to grant my request, then I'll return the two DVDs, at my expense, for a refund and I'll reorder them with this promotion. I was just hoping to save the aggravation of a return and on the return shipping fees. As to point two, Bullitt is included in the sale, so there's really nothing left to say about that. Hopefully the next CSR will grant the freebie.

Got the new Harry Potter, Pan's Labyrinth & The Departed for $49.90 (or $16.33 apiece). I can definitely live with that. Decided to spend a little more than I planned originally and wound up with some premium discs.
