I would go with whatever shows an actual price paid along with the date. I've never ordered from BN but I've received Amazon orders where my packing slip could be viewed as the receipt (price listed) whereas NewEgg.com only list the items included in the shipment and you access your order history at the website to print out an invoice (receipt).

Hey guys, just used the 25% off coupon on the website for Playboy. Rolling Stone isn't available, but I'm thinking of checking out the store. So, if you haven't jumped on the Playboy set, now's the time!

I had actually forgotten all about this, but I received my rebate check on the Rolling Stone set in the mail today.

I didn't care for it so much. It was a pain to navigate. So I sent off for the subscription, and then sold it for a profit.

it was weird for me. i received an issue of rolling stone in the mail about a week ago. and i was pissed. i thought they decided to give me a subscription even though i clearly wrote in for a refund.

a few days later, i received another issue. and then two days later i received a third issue (i guess they were sending me past back issues at a quicker rate?) AND my rebate check.

so from the looks of it, according to the mag, i get a year-long subscription and $12.95 back. not bad at all, huh? this happen to anybody else?

Nope. No time frame given. I just sent mine in around the first of this month.

You guys who received your rebate, when did you mail it in?

I sent mine in a few days after I got the set(probably the end of january), so I would guess that it took the proverbial 6-8 weeks.

I just did it two days ago... I'd do it before you lose your receipt!

This is funny...not only did I get my check, but as others have reported, I just started getting issues of Rolling Stone in the mail(got 2 back issues lol). The mailing label says the subscription expires 2/12/09....
