I don't think they've added any titles but they've definitely removed a couple. I know "Mr. & Mrs. Smith" and "The Shining" both used to be listed and now they're gone. Amazon claims "limited quantities" so I guess that's their explanation.

What a GREAT day for consumers!

I do agree in the short term the special sales may dry up, but in the long term the format needs to reach mass acceptance to let volume and market dynamics do its thing, sending prices back down.

So I think it's a matter of perspective. In the end, decision making shouldn't hinge on what you were able to do in the past, but your expectations of how you'll do in the future. If, as people think, warner going exclusive blu-ray will dry up the BOGO for a while, then you're MUCH better off ordering during this sale regardless of whether your 10% is with you or not...

I know a bunch of people were able to get some DVDs for next to nothing very early on, but that was due to the rise of e-commerce and internet stores offering ridiculous discounts and coupons to try and gain a foothold (which for the most part did not work since the majority of those companies failed....)
HD DVD and Blu-ray have only been available for around 18-20 months at this point, yet we are getting excellent B1G1 sales and big discounts that are allowing some titles to be available for $10 or less already....this has all been due to the format war and competition between the two camps....now, if this kills off HD DVD and Blu-ray is all that's left, say bye-bye to the good deals and lower prices....
