Thanks, good info. That turns out to be an excellent deal if you just want to get a single book because you can still use the member coupons in this thread. The free shipping more than makes up for getting only 5% off instead of the normal member 10% off.

That's what I ended up doing to get the DVDs I mentioned above. Using the current 20% code along with a 15% code, and a 10% members discount I got both DVDs for roughly $18 shipped. With free expedited delivery I should have both my orders tomorrow.


You should be able to get a 10% members discounts through the free shipping links. However I have noticed sometimes when going through them it will knock off my members discount and I have to re-enter my membership number to get it back. Unfortunately I have not been able to stack either the 5% or 6% discounts with my members discount through the links.

I did 2 separate orders since the coupon codes will work on only one item and do not stack. One order I used the 20% members coupon from the current list, and the second order used one of the 15% codes. That was in addition to free expedited delivery, members discount, and using a B&N credit card on both orders.

Sorta. You can always get the online price at the store if you do what is called "Ship To Home." You are basically ordering online, but at the store. They'll still give you free shipping if you are over $25. The only advantage to this is if you have a coupon only good in store, but want to use it on a web order.
As for getting the member discount, once you sign up online, log out and log back into your account. You will see your membership number. Write it down, and then you can use it in store. They can look up your number in store as well, but that may take a day or two to get into their system...

Online prices are almost always better than in-store, especially on new releases. Personally, I rarely buy in-store...

If you order online you cannot have it shipped to a store, or do an in store pickup at B&N. If you are trying to avoid a shipping charge why not use either the military.com, or Visa links listed in the coupon post above, along with the coupon while creating a new account. Either link offers no minimum free shipping on all orders regardless of price, and also a 6% discount in the military.com link or 5% with the Visa link. The 25% new account code I would assume should stack with the other discounts. If you want to add a membership you could get a 10% discount but the membership will cost you $25 for the year. The 10% members discount however will not stack with either the 6% or 5% discount I mentioned, but you could still get free shipping on the order.
