Ok, just got my order. Rest easy. It's the 3disc DC w/Bust. The corners seem to have a bit of "shelfwear", but nothing to bad.

I just did an online chat with bestprices.com (there's a link under contact us)... here's the response I got: Heather: We ran out about 7 hour after we had them listed, we no longer have stock. Do to going through google it delayed the orders progress. when I asked how I get a refund from the google checkout process she responded: Heather: We will issue one back to you. It has to go through our finance and then they issue it to google.

needless to say I am not amused

Anyone who ordered through Google Checkout (like me) might be screwed. My online conversation with customer service a few moments ago:

Heather: We are currently out of stock on this item. We sold out in 7 hours. Our site has not been able to update yet.

Me: other people had theirs ship that ordered the day AFTER i did, so i dont understand

Heather: since you went through google it effected the order of us receiving orders in.

Heather: I have spoke with the warehouse in regards to this, an they have no stock.

Me: will you get more in?

Heather: From what the warehouse has said we are not receiving more special edition.

Hey, that's deja vu!!! Same person, same conversation, and apparently at the same time!!!

What sucks is that I didn't even use the $10 off through GCO (didn't want to submit another credit card or create a new account with Google). I just used it because I didn't want to create an account with BestPrices.com. Dang, I guess if I had simply paid for it with a CC through their site I would have had it shipped. I ordered pretty soon after this was posted too. Oh well.

Im the original poster of this deal and I posted this 2 hours after I used google checkout and I never got a ship. I searched around and found it at familyvideo.com for 13.00. They shipped mine today but took it off their site so you cant order anymore. I came close to not getting one and I posted this deal. Im not gonna use google checkout for anything in limted quantities again.

I was charged but I haven't received a shipping notice so I'm sure it will be canceled. I also used google checkout because I didn't want to make an account with them. ohh well. leson learned I guess.

Actually I just checked my statement and I've been charged without a shipping notice as well.

That's kinda ridiculous that yours shipped, but the OP's didn't... Well, I'm glad there are some people that didn't get screwed over, but it shouldn't have happened to the OP (although he still got a good deal apparently)...

I once tried to cancel an order with Bestprices that I placed through google checkout. I emailed them and also deleted the virtual credit card number I used so they couldn't charge me, figuring that they wouldn't ship if they couldn't charge me. Well, the charge through google checkout failed and it asked me to provide a new card or to cancel the order. I cancelled and later that day I got a shipping notice. The DVD showed up a few days later. According to google, the transaction was cancelled, so I couldn't change anything to fix it.

I actually felt bad and called them about it. The guy on the phone couldn't believe it and said he'd have to check on it and call me back. He called me back the next day and asked for another credit card number. I gave him another virtual number with a limit set just over the purchase price and about 3 months till expiration. I was never charged, I left that card number active until it expired.

I placed one more order with them after that, they sent me Halloween H2O instead of Halloween 2 and I didn't even bother complaining.

Bestprices doesn't have a clue what they're doing.

I would like to point out that GCO is pretty crap. they screw up orders a lot. They cancelled an order on me before (I forget who from...buy.com maybe?) two or three times, taking a WEEK to do it, and maintained that my CC info was wrong (interestingly, this time I was using my branch of a card, which I don't think has *my* address [only my name] tied to it...they apparently accepted it this time without issue. Perhaps CCs are less strict than Debits, for which I guess I should probably be glad...)

It does sound like either BP or GC has a severe nonlinear waterfowl issue.

Yeah it's definitely weird that mine shipped when I ordered mine on through Google on the 28th, three days after this thread was started.

Still, I ain't complaining.

i ordered (gco) after spotting this thread on friday (1:45pm),
& received shipping notice early tuesday (4:30am)..

i just checked tracking w/ usps & so far, so good..
(ive been having bad luck w/ usps lately)

my theory;
possibly orders get processed in reverse at the end of the day? yknow.. 9, 8, 7...
but if they dont finish the list, earlier orders could get bumped to the next days list,
so it could be a simple matter of ascending vs descending order..
(which would completely obliterate '1st come, 1st serve')

i bought 2 with the intent of reselling one later,
but also as a backup in case i get a broken one..
having said that, im sure those of you that missed out
might be a little pissed at me, so ill just repeat what g said..

I finally got my shipping notice this morning around 5:30. I was starting to think mine was never going to ship. I ordered back on 1/25 at 11:56pm and received the pending shipment email on 1/26 at 11:25 am.

Wow, I got a shipping notice this morning with tracking number. I ordered on Jan 28, 2007 1:21 AM CST through google checkout. Very strange, they definitely didn't process these in order.

Same here! I got a shipping notice at 5:25am this morning. But Bestprices told me yesterday that they had no more stock, and my order would not be filled. She was looking at my order in their system, supposedly! They really are clueless. Of course, just because we got an email saying it shipped doesn't mean it truly did. Maybe they decided to officially "ship" them all, so they could then "return" them all so that we get our refunds through GCO. The CSR did say yestesrday it was a tricky process to issue a refund through GCO... The tracking number is not in USPS's system yet. Once I see it there, then I'll believe it truly shipped...

No. This happened to me on one of my GCO accounts already. I could not get the $10 discount on my replacement order...
