Had no problems for me this morning. Great price for a pretty decent movie.

I liked this film, I'm surprised it did so poorly at the BO.

Thanks to the OP for this. I thought the movie was alright. Del Toro's films are always beautiful to look at, and there's some great action, but there are some elements to it that needed work. Anyway, the Director's Cut always sounded like an awesome DVD. I've actually been hoping that Best Buy would include it in their occasional 2 for $20 Special Edition deal that usually included Warner and Sony titles. So this looks like a great deal. I was only interested in the DVD itself, but the bust looks like a good bonus.

It appears to be OOS, but you can still place orders for it at that price. Does bestprices.com charge at the time the order is placed, or when the order ships?

huh?
Still says 196 in stock for me, and when I add it to the cart it STILL says "item is in stock"

Of course I'm not about to pointlessly make another order, so maybe it says it further along...?

I just saw the thread and placed my order through Google checkout this very minute. There were no notices at any point about it being out-of-stock. It still says 196 in-stock on the site, which can't be a good sign. That number doesn't seem to be going down as people order so it must be inaccurate. Plus their cart system lets me add as many as I want to my cart, I just put 9999 in.

I'll be p.o.'ed if this order is cancelled because I got my first-time user Google checkout bonus with this and I highly doubt that would be rolled back if this order is cancelled. I also don't like that the receipt just says "Hellboy DVD" rather than the full description the web site had since they could send any version of the movie out going by that.

I have been in the market for the Director's Cut for a while. I bought the original release when it was new and enjoyed the movie a good deal. It was too pricey a double dip though even without the bust. I don't want the bust but at this price who cares?

What do you say about this now? The numbers should have been updated as they were purchased, not after that item shipped. They're going to have a lot of emails to send out to people regarding it being OOS. This is a ridiculous procedure of theirs, either update the inventory as it's being purchased, or don't put up a number at all.

I hope they send the right version. I once ordered Halloween 2 from them and they sent me Halloween H2O.

My email from bestprices.com has the "part number" of Hellboy and when I searched it, the correct set with the figurine came up.

Indeed. The number IS worthless.

Oh, and HE Pennypacker, I'm opening mine up. I'm watching the DVD and displaying the bust next to this:

Is this the only Hellboy bust, or are there other versions? The bestprices site shows a different bust that isn't as cool. [EDIT: Nevermind, I figured out that this isn't the "bust" that comes with the DVD.]

I did a search at Amazon and the only Hellboy set with a bust that came up was the one pictured at bestprices.com.

Ah, nevermind. I misread ytrez' original post. He said he's displaying the bust (as shown above) *next to* the figurine he posted. (Which is hella cool!)

I only received a confirmation e-mail from Google Checkout...no shipping notice yet. Hope this goes through, although I am concerned about how this will be packaged. When this was first released, I know I saw a lot of broken arms/guns just floating around inside of the package.
