Visited the BG last night that had lots of anime when I was in there on Saturday and wow someone had hit it hard! Anyway picked up the following (3 bucks for each) :

cowboy bebop 6th session

Then some stuff for FangsFirst and Printerati:

Gundam 0083
Planetes vol 6
Overman King Gainer Exodus 6
Mars Daybreak Vol 6 ( 2 copies)

Not much off your lists but but at least there were a few. I will be visiting some more biglots on Saturday so I will keep looking for you guys. There were a ton of mars daybreak vol 3 but sadly neither of you needed that one!
Did not see any of the 2 disc like rebel without a cause, giant, etc. and of course no batman. Hopefully this Saturday I will find some of the other stuff!

Thanks for checking, Neil. I've got multiple copies of the "Batman" serials and still looking for the two-disc "Strangers on a Train", "Bandwagon" or the three Dean SEs.

Well on impulse today on my lunch hour I decided to hit up a little "baby" biglots that is close to my office (I work over in Louisville) and they had a ton of dvds stocked up which really surprised me because this has to be the smallest biglots I have ever been in and the last time I was in there about 6 months ago they had zip. Anyway the bad news is of course no batman and no 2 JD 2 discers. I did however pick up:

mobile suit gundam seed vol 7
mobile suit gundam F91 - The motion picture 2 disc special edition

FangFirst your list you sent me just listed Gundam F91 so I dont know if this is what you were looking for or not. Figured I would snag it just in case. No biggie if its not as I will just return it when I am at the BL's on Saturday or see if someone else on here needs it.

Found (and bought) at Westwood Plaza BL in Tallahassee:

Starship Troopers 2
An Evening with Kevin Smith 2 uncut
Final Fantasy: The Spirits Within 2 disc se

$3 each. Pickings were slim, may have to try the bigger BL over by Sam's this weekend, where a buddy found Psychonauts for the PC for $6 last week.

Psychonauts has shown up at many stores I've been to.

Made a stop today, found that a store apparently discovered their stock of sony titles from christmas in the back and unloaded the monstrous pile of mementos, monster SEs, river runs through it, philadelphia, etc...
PS: found a 3 burials for ya, printerati!

Cowboy Bebop 6
Panda Z (Vol.1) Vol.2 & 5 were also there

Planetes vol 6
Overman King Gainer Exodus 6
mobile suit gundam F91 - The motion picture 2 disc special edition
S-Cry-Ed Vol3(legends)
S-Cry-Ed Vol6

Didn't get an email yet, try to resend?

I can try to see if they still have the SEED movie next time I stop by there but it might be a few days, and they may be gone by then, but I will try. Not sure which vols of 0083 there were, let me know what you are looking for.

Well the biglots I went to at lunch today and had never been to before was a really nice big one and had quite a big selection of movies. Oddly enough though they had no cartoons or anime of any kind! I picked up body double SE for myself as I had even forgot this title was showing up quite a while back at BL's. I also picked up the 2 disc edition of Philidelphia for Basaro so looks like my batman serial search is finally over! This BL had a ton of spanish movies and spanish fitness dvds. I had not come across that before. Hopefully tomorrow when I hit a couple of more BL's I will turn up some more anime for you guys.

I believe it's supposed to be full-frame since it is a made-for-TV movie.

I guess my Batman serial search for Neil is finally over, too.

Appreciate the updates and bumping of this thread... All the talk of some of the stores 'restocking' finally convinced me to stop in again. Found all the titles that I was interested in previously but had missed out on: Memento, Philadelphia, League of Their Own, River Runs Through It, Monster.

OH man they had some awesome stuff this morning. I picked up (all for only #3):
Memento(2-Disk LE; They actually had AT LEAST 5 copies of this, I w as shocked considering how good of a deal this is, I already have a copy But I picked up one more just in case...)
League of Their Own: SE
River Runs Through It: Deluxe Edition,
Monster: SE,
Crazy in Alabama: SE,
Starship Troopers 2: SE.

Also I saw Urban legend(WS/FF), I Know What You Did Last Summer (WS/FF), Out of Reach (Steven Seagal STV flick), Meltdown (Pretty decent Die-Hard rip-off starring Jet Li) and others. Still can not find the Batman serials collection but thats ok since honestly its probably something I would never even watch. Big Lots is defintiely awesome though for getting these great titles.

Has anyone found copies of:
IGPX: Vol. 7
Outlaw Star: Vol. 1, 3
Mobile Suit Gundam 0080: War in the Pocket Vol. 2

I am looking for those. If anyone can find them and is willing to sell them to me at cost (obviously I will pay for shipping/packaging) or to trade for something I might be able to find at my Big Lots just let me know. The one I go to just recently got a lot of different anime titles.

From frequently reading this thread, it sounds like BL takes much better care of their midwest stores then they do their West Coast.

GRRR.

The three Big Lots near where I live haven't restocked in a month. No love here in the northeast either.

Well, alas I have not seen those, but if you find any of my titles, I'd do the same for you...

Hi, I am a long time lurker of this thread and finally joined so I can post.

I would like to thank you all for all the info. I have been able to pick up a load of movies at BL at great prices.

I am still looking for

The Band Wagon
Rebel Without a Cause
Giant
East of Eden

Hopefully I will run across them soon. I am sure there are others, I will have to reread through the posts to see what others are finding.

I did find Strangers on a Train this past week. After reading some of the posts, I wish I would have picked up the other copy they had. It looks like others are still looking for it. If I get back to that store and they still have a copy, I will grab it.

Thanks for helping me spend money!!
