In the same vein as Grave of the Fireflies, there's Now and Then, Here and There which can be had for ~$20. Great series, but I don't think I'll watch it again too soon.

Well, the Viz sale ends on Sunday night. I would imagine that it will be a new studio sale with, hopefully, a higher % off of list price.

bestbuy.com deals

I know that not all the Best Buy in store prices are also on the website, but I was picking up a couple of Farscape Starburst sets for 6.99, so I decided to look around for other items to add to my order.

Here are some anime dvds that are available to order online for 6.99 (subset of the in-store prices table):

Argentosoma 6: 11.99
Chrono Crusade [that's how they spell it] 3, 4, 5
Maburaho LE box
Madlax 1, 3
Neon Genesis Evangelion Platinum 1: 11.99
Neon Genesis Evangelion Platinum 4, 6, 7
Peacemaker 1 (box): 9.99
Peacemaker 2, 5, 6
Saiyuki double barrel 1, 2, 4
Saiyuki Requiem

Thanks for the info, but everything in the table is already linked, so I'm not sure how I'm supposed to turn this into an update (I'm also not very good with the table itself).

The Anime Corner Store has a 5% off 100 valid until 9/13. Works on closeouts too.

*** POST LABOR DAY SAVINGS - SAVE 5% OFF ANY ORDER OVER $100! ***

We know that back to school time can be a drag, so we're trying to liven things us with an Anime coupon exclusively for our newsletter subscribers! From now through Sept 13th you can take 5% off any order over $100!
That's right, you can save up to an additional 5% off our already low prices on every product in the store (even sale and closeout items!). The more you order, the more you can save. US customers can combine this with our free super saver shipping option to save even more!

Just use the following coupon code when you place your order:

backtoschool06

Coupons are valid ONLY for NEW orders, and good through Wednesday, Sept 13th only, so don't wait!
BTW, those June, May, and April '04 links are no longer working.

Understood. I just noted it because I thought that those prices were only in-store for some reason, and figured maybe someone else might find this useful too.

I just added that note because several people would post something like, "THESE PRICES AREN'T GOOD ONLINE, YOU MIGHT WANT TO UPDATE THE TABLE. " When I just linked them all so that people would know what they were buying, not that the prices necessarily represented online prices, but in-store prices. However, there are some that (like you noted) are accurate both in-store and online. Some of them used to be accurate and are no longer accurate, so it can be hard to keep up with everything.

Anyone know why Right Stuf removed all the copies of Princess Nine? I went to order some and their all gone even though they were there a week or 2 ago. And i know they didnt sell out. Plus it seems the box set is OOP too. I wanted to pick this series up.

I did some checking for you. All of the single volumes of Princess Nine (Vol.1, Vol.2, Vol.3, Vol.4, Vol.5, Vol.6) stated that they are "No Longer Available For Purchase." Princess Nine DVD Complete Collection Set (Hyb) was removed from Right Stuf product listing on August 3, 2006. The only place place that I see that has the complete collection in-stock is Amazon.com for $53.98, but it still say it ships in 2 to 5 weeks! My guess is that this series could very well be OOP soon!

If you believe that this series didn't sell out from Righ Stuf, I would email Shawne Kleckner @ [email protected] and see if he can remedy your situation!

Thanks for looking into that. But yeah they didn't sell out unless some one bought every one of the copies at one time. About 2 weeks ago the had a few of vol.2 left but had tons of vol.3,4,5,6 left. I don't remember the number amout but i know it was enough that they would sell out in 2 weeks time. Really sucks but i guess theres always the evil eBay.

Princess Nine:

Try checking Digitaleyes.net. They usually have used copies of Princess Nine for around $5 a disc. Right now it looks like they're resetting their used inventory. But it should be back up in a day or two.

I'd recommend checking the next ADV sale. I picked up the complete set at one of their sales a few months ago for around $16 + shipping.

Also check out the Used dealers at Amazon. Individual discs are priced between $2-$5 a piece. Shipping for each disc is about $2.60. You could probably pick up all 6 discs for around $30.
