So which is worth it more, Hercules, Xena or Highlander?

Damn... I've already got most everything I want that's in the sale. Oh well. DDD has taken too much of my money as it is!

I'll second that that set is great.
I bought the Herzog Kinski set a while ago, and now I want this.

Probably buying:

The Werner Herzog Collection...41.99
The Alec Guinness Collection...FREE

Maybe the Ultimate Zena box, Profit, Sledgehammer, and 3d Rock from the Sun as well. Damn, this sale is just too good.

Thanks OP

I was always more fond of Hercules than Xena. Though the first two seasons are rather weak, the show kept getting better and better (especially in the comedy department) up until its rather abrupt cancellation. For those reasons and many more, I picked up Hercules 4 & 5 to nearly conclude my collection.

Gotta question.....

Anyone order the Masters Of Horror releases this way through DDD

http://www.deepdiscountdvd.com/dvd.cfm?itemid=ABD014528

Do they come with the slip cases?

I've ordered the first 3 double packs and they do come with the slipcovers. They just put the 2 normal dvds cases side by side. So they're just like the normal versions.

These are not part of the sale are they?
Even at $4.5 a disc it is still going to be around $50 for the whole season.

With all the "new" sale from DDD the last few weeks, I'd been holding back quite well. That was until now. I haven't snapped, just bent a little. If I had more scratch, I'd really snap!!! Go DDD, Go DDD, Go.

Ordered two copies of "BEAUTIFUL HOMES & GREAT ESTATES" season one. I didn't know it was on DVD. I used to watch this show when I up late at night. It came on before "Ebert and Roeper". It speaks to the architect within. Two copies because I don't want scratched DVDs. Better odds, if I need to - mix and match the discs.

Hmmmm.... The only thing I want is 3rd Rock from the Sun seasons 1-5, but that makes things a odd number, and I can't find anything else.... Is there anything anyone would want and split the cost with me?

Just ordered Evil Dead 2: Book of the Dead (heard it has a better transfer than my tin) and the Ilsa box set, because you can never have too many WIP flicks.

Anyone else find it odd that only 2 of the 3 Masters of Horror 2-packs are included? They omitted the only one I need (Landis/McKee). Odd...

2 of the double packs are available through the sale. the 3rd one isnt nad I don't think DDD is offering them to doubles after that one.

Thanks for posting. This is money I didn't intend to spend, but, I couldn't pass up these prices! My first order, I picked up Roseanne: The Complete First Season and Roseanne: The Complete Second Season, for $17.99, shipped! I'll go back, before the sale ends, to get Season 3 and 4, hopefully!

I picked up Titus. God help me if they do this again when I've got a few more paychecks under my belt.

I ordered Hercules S2-S6, and Three's Company S6. I know I'll be ordering more. That's just getting my feet wet... Glad to hear this goes until September 5th. Plenty of time to go broke before then!

I'm probably going to blind buy these sets. I've been tempted before during 20% off sales, but never pulled the trigger. This price may be too good to pass up.

Damn, I wish this sale came a little bit earlier. I would so be all over the Fright Packs. I have the Walking Dead one. 12 DVDs for $20 or so is AMAZING!

I'll get some exploitation and/or grind house type stuff.

The Ilsa Collection
and either Angel or Sleepaway Camp.

Any thoughts on the last two?

I'd go with Sleepaway Camp. Angela is so funny. Plus tons of 80's boobies
