But has anybody noticed that Best Buy seems to hate their own price matching policy. A few weeks ago I PM Office:Season 1 (US) for $12.99 and was given a hard time because of the extreme price difference (BB had it for $23.99).

This week, when trying to PM Circuit City's price, Best Buy was giving me a hard time because the price wasn't directly below the the picture of Lady and the Tramp in the ad. I told the clerk that I had just been to Circuit City to pick up the ad and can confirm that price with a phone call. And his response was "I'm not going to go through all of that trouble for two bucks".

So I'm made to feel like a liar when I want to PM something with an extreme price difference (Office) and a cheapskate when I want to save a couple of bucks (LATT)? Thumbs up!
I seem to get the complete opposite. I've PM'd just about anything at BB with no problems. CC ALWAYS gives me problems. I tried PM European vacation and Empire of the Sun down to $4.99(BB price) from $5.99, and the guy was like, I'm not going to price match the 4.99 titles. I was like why, and he was like, cuz its 20%. Which didn't make sense at all cuz first of all, $1.00 of $5.99 is not 20% and secondly they would probably match a $19.99 dvd down to $15.99 which is apporzimately 20%.

my best buy rules! they let me pm cc, pre-order narnia and use a rz certificate. i mentioned the plush which they were out of, and as i was i was walking out the door with my purchases the salesman scored me a plush too! the way it broke down on my receipt was lady & the tramp 8.46 (11.99-3.53 rz) and narnia preorder 3.53 (5-1.47 rz). 12.71 for everything.

just letting you know that the PM to CC was useless since the system charged you $11.99. I did the same thing but didn't get the stuffed dog since they were out

$16.99 - $5 = $11.99

$14.99 - $5 = $9.99

Got mine plus the plush at BB on Saturday for $9.99 after PM to CC and the Narnia preorder discount.

If the Narnia 2-disc turns out to be a ridiculous price, I'm just gonna return it for a refund.

Won't BB ding you $5 then? I think they have a return policy that if you buy a bundle and return any part of it, you lose any discounts you may have gained.

What do you mean? You wont get anything back.

You would just lose the $5 off for the Disney DVD. Unless your planning to return the Narnia DVD without a receipt maybe.
