I also finally got this rebate in the mail this month after sending out for it in January or February.

FWIW, I got my $50 rebate yesterday after mailing it in on April 19.

So, they're still sending them out, in case anyone hasn't received a check yet.

Do you happen to know if there's a website where you can track the status of a rebate? Thanks.

Just call the number off the rebate form. They can look up your status for you.

I am not aware of a website for tracking this rebate offer so I'll second the suggestion to call them: 866-488-4640.

The offer says "Allow 8-10 weeks for processing" but I am not the only one to find that it took much longer than that. More than 14 weeks in my case.

I sent for mine in late March or early April and my check arrived yesterday, so it looks like 4 months is the norm for this.

OK, I mailed the form off in January or early February and still nothing. I moved at the beginning of August for a new job, so I guess I'd best call them and see if I'm in the system somewhere - or if I was ever in it.
I hate rebate procedures.

So check this one out....

...I sent in my submission for $50 worth of rebates on June 22nd. Last week, I get it sent back to me, as they stated that one of the shows I purchased wasn't eligble (The Flash - for anyone intrested). Rather than just discount the amount of the rebate by that one purchase, they made me re-submit the whole form, again, without that title on it. Talk about jumping through hoops...jeez. But, it's still a realatively easy, now $40 bucks, so whatever.

The same thing happened to me. I got a letter back a few days ago saying The Closer was ineligible. What makes it worse, though, is I had called the number on the rebate form to ask if it was eligible, and the person I talked to said it wasn't on the list they had, but it wouldn't hurt to send it in, just in case. Apparently it did hurt, because I have to resubmit my rebate form, too.

I just called cs. They sent the check in May. That validates Damfino's claim that four months is a good estimate. Now I have to wait some more while they cancel the old check (provided it hasn't gotten in the wrong hands) and they'll send me a new one, hopefully before Christmas.

PS: This in no way diminishes my hatred of rebate procedures

While I also find rebates a PITA, this WB rebate was free money because I was going to buy the sets anyway. I also used two of the same sets to get another $5 rebate (they even asked for different POP tabs!). That meant that I got $55 back for buying WB sets, enough to buy two more sets.

I'd say it was worth the hassle.

Technical note: For the manufacturer (or store, in the case of store rebates), rebates tend to encourage sales but a large percentage of them are never collected, despite the best intentions of the consumer at purchase time. This means the manufacturer gets the benefit of sales stimulation at less cost than just lowering the price.

Got my $50 rebate today!!

I forget when I sent in for it, but no more than 3-4 months has gone by. I was worried it would take 6 months, or I would have to call to speed things along. I now feel comfortable taking advantage of future WB TV rebate offers.

Do you happen to recall when you sent your rebate request in? I mailed mine out the first week of July and I haven't heard jack about it. Thanks.

Damn. I guess it is another month wait for me since I sent mine in June. Oh well, as long as I get it in time for the Wii I'll be good.

I think the limit was June 30th, but perhaps my memory just sucks.

The offer expired on June 30th, but you had until July 14th to get it submitted(I definitely got it mailed out in time).

I just called in because I sent my rebate form off towards the end of May. They said that they began processing it July 6th and that it takes 4-8 weeks, so they should be mailing it soon. :/

Just called. Super friendly CS. They processed mine on July 3rd and said it should be going out anytime now. She also let me know on the phone that there were no issues with it going through. Nice. $40 for me.

I sent my second one out on July 1. Still haven't heard from my parents that they have received it at their address yet.

Ah, fair enough. I know I was aiming for mailing by the 30th, but thought that might be the case. But I'm so lazy I was convinced that I'd be aiming for the last day to mail, heh
